If you’ve never used an air filter these are great. kzbin.infoUgkx_dppjvjF8BYEmPSDTcgCUdRsgWYLXNHN I ended up with three after starting out with one. The noise level depends on the 1-3 settings with how hard you want the machine to work. You can also upgrade the filters and get one better for pet hair and smells which is a must have in my home. I noticed the air seemed lighter and easier to breathe when running the machine for the first time. Works great every time. Highly recommended!

I'm worried about the potential ozone byproduct from the UVC light, does it release a weird smell?
@bitume Жыл бұрын
Here's what I found on Quora: "Most do not, or do not with the UV lamps used. Unless the lamp produces UV- 215 or shorter wavelength, it cannot ionize oxygen and nitrogen to form ozone. Most UV lamps in these devices are UV-254 or even longer wavelength, which are "germicidal" or "advanced oxidation"."
@twentytwo138 Жыл бұрын
@@bitume Thanks for the reply. Yes i asked Xiaomi if their UV bulb is above or below 240nm wavelength but they couldn't answer. They said: ''We don't have official information about ozone'' I think they should what kind of bulb they use. Also, most UVC bulbs have a coating inside that blocks shorter wavelengths, and if this coating wears off it can start leaking ozone. I have a UVC lamp with ozone and it's a fully clear bulb, it says on the package what wavelength is it (i forgot exactly but it's below 240nm) I will just have to trust Xiaomi and the technology, hopefully it's safe.
@KevinSoRandom Жыл бұрын
As far as I can tell, the UV light only works when it’s filling the reservoir with water then shuts off (as I’ve demonstrated in the video) so there’s very little chance for ozone to be produce plus the lamp is mostly submerged in water not the air. 😊
