Hoping this could be a slim contender to the t-deck. About the same price so you'd probably want the keyboard. Not sure... likely better battery being e-ink! will be good to keep an eye on it!

Is there a LilyStay too? I’d prefer that

WiFi is working for me with app but it glitches with no WiFi name. (There is nothing to do on WiFi on demo app) Anyway I hardcoded password into source code. Cool little device. Will use it as live preview of airplanes flying above me. It was my first contact with esp32 and have already proof of concept working after few hours.

@@Jeremiah.o.A.T I have had an ADSB receiver (cheap SDR, RaspberryPi, adsb dot im) on my balcony for more than a decade. I live bellow the approach to the airport. For this project i use puppeter to take screenshots of map with limited clutter & it is downloaded to t5s3. I will maybe add arrivals/departures screen from airport next. I had long planned to do such a project but was put off by the soldering and the problem of not having an aesthetically pleasing case for the eink screen. I ordered the T5S3 as soon as it came out, it has everything I need and will look perfect on a stand qi charger (sadly iPhone charger is not always detected by it, I'll have to see what causes this, fast swapping from phone to t5s3 sometimes works)
