Part 3: Google Calendar Tutorial for Virtual Assistants

This is part three, and final part, of our basic Google Calendar Management tutorial where you will see more scenarios where we need to use Google Calendar.
This tutorial will be most effective if done interactively. You can pause the video anytime to do each feature on your own. A PC or laptop is best used for this tutorial as some features may not work in mobile.

But I cant help but notice that the travel to SFO “date” in traffic forecast (google map) was not changed to Feb 18. It was still dated at Feb 16. Video at 16:20 - 16:40. For flight calendars, do you always need to put his schedule from his home to airport to his hotel and vice versa? Or just from home to airport then airport to home vice versa?

Hi Mia. Thank you for this tutorial. I noticed that you didn't send Paul the invite for the meeting at Nobu Malibu. Is there a reason? Since the instruction said you should send him the invite for 11a.m. Also, since you incorporated the journey time into the calendar, supposing you send the meeting invite to Paul, wouldn't he be confused as to the actual time of the meeting? Is it better to create one solely for our client to ensure he gets to the meeting location on time and then create another one showing just the meeting time (11 a.m.-12p.m) which we then send to the meeting invitee?

HI MJ good day, i am reviewing right now and thank you for all the videos these would be a big help. i just have a question regarding the meeting with the guest, can we really assume that it wud only last for an hour? i mean of course that wud be a business meeting plus the duration of the lunch/dinner and then small talk and so on. And then we already assumed for an hour meeting including the travel forecast. thank you so much.

It is really based on your clients prefrence. If you client ssays the meeting will only lasty for 30 mins, then you plot it at 30 mins. but ewhen the meeting is over lunch or dinner, always put it at 1 hour plsu the travel time

I love how you easily expound the topics so it would be easy for newbies to comprehend. But there are some errors in the flight hours contrary to the second one. Just noticed while doing hands-on that the LAX - MAD is only 8 hours travel while MAD - LAX is 12 hours which is the realistic traveling time according to Google. Anyways, good job on providing free videos to everyone. Kudos to you kabayan!

Hi, you have to install the ZOOM SCHEDULER google chrome extension. Once you have that, it will be available in your calendar. :) Please let me know if it works :)

Yes for all. Yes always include travel time when your client needs to go form one place to another. Especially when it is more than 10 mins away. And yes for online meetings include a prep time of 15mins prior to his meeting.

Mia, Your tutorial is very helpful, but I have a problem with the first example, (Meeting with Paul at Nobu) cause there the guest receives a schedule like your client sets off his journey from 9.30 AM and finishes to return home at 1.30 PM. The guest receives the same calendar notice, but the guest should only receive the meeting time like (11-12). Cause the other information only belongs to my client, not the guest. I am learning this thing so Please give me proper feedback that helps me to move the right way. Thank you
