Elf is a hidden gem in this world. Their foundation is good, their blushes, brushes, primers (good dupes for smashbox). Even their eyeshadow isn't that bad, as long as you buy the right palette for you. And their skincare is 😍😍👌🏽👌🏽. It will be the one and only brand I will 100% stan for affordability. Always walk out with 10 items at least and only spending $30-40, which could have easily been $100-250 for any other brand, even higher. If that's not a deal, idk what is. Elf puts Nyx to shame, really. Only Wet n' Wild will ever be so cheap with great products too.

I’m about to show my age but E.L.F was a huge deal when I was maybe a junior or senior in high school because EVERYTHING was $1. All of it. And it was all so good. Also you may be shooketh to learn that the bottom of the lipstick (like the old school style lipsticks). The bottom part that shows what color it is... well it actually pops off and is a lip balm of the same color

If you pop the little color indicator square off of the bottom of the lipstick tubes (exfoliator too), you get a little tinted balm! I figured this out when I dropped my lipstick. Maybe the exfoliating lipstick bonus balm is like a hydrating coconut thing.

Take a lighter to the broken lip exfoliator for a few seconds, melting/warming down the end inside the lipstick bullet. Then immediately add a bit of heat to the broken half, press both together without applying too much force/pressure, screw the bullet back down and place in a cold cup of water, holding it there for about 10-20 seconds. Let it set a few hours in the refrigerated afterwards for the rest of the day so that it firs back up again. You should be able to use it just fine by the next day. This has always worked for me! Great review! I love ELF and I’m so excited you did a full review on them! Bunches of love Mia!!💕💕

I literally just placed an order before watching this. I can definitely say the liquid liner is the best one I've found. The brush is perfectly thin and the formula glides on, but really lasts. It is super easy to remove with micellar water and really does not stain at all. 100/10 would recommend it.

Mia the point of the colours in the powder is to colour correct but when you mix them all together it completely makes the effect useless. Beauty News did a video explaining this. When you use the colours all together it does nothing but if you use them separate in targeted areas you can cancel out redness or darkness or dullness

Actually I've been using a powder from Physicians Formula, which is a swirl of the 4 colors, on its own without any foundation for years and I find that it really evens out my skin tone. So I think that this kit from elf is meant to be used either way, as needed.

E. L. F. is an awesome brand... their brushes are amazing and so affordable, no reason to spend $20 on a crease brush unless you just like to waste money! The blending sponge is good, too, but will split like all the other affordable ones. Lastly, their eyeshadow palettes are amazing, great pigment and blendable, can’t beat the price for the quality!

Hi Mia! I guess winter is a bad time to use moisturising products. At least it's not recommended to do it in makeup knowing that you will be out and your skin will be freezing for some time. This is because water in products also freezes and makes micro injuries in skin (from school physics classes you know water is getting in volume when freezes). I am not expert but I think in winter it's better to use nutritious cream. This way your skin will be young longer. Have a nice day Mia!

I love elf. I like a light natural look & use the matte products. It works well for an over 50 (year old) look. It doesn't settle into the fine lines & wrinkles. I use it lightly during the day but it can easily be adjusted for an evening out.

@@danar5887 cause usually "porcelain" is VERY light,for the most pale skintones. a lot of names of foundation ( such as ivory, chocolate) are associated with some tones,shades of them, and they are pretty similar in different brands. i have really pale skin and this foundation is so dark and orange for me. but usually I buy foundation in shade "porcelain" and don't have any problems with it.

This is probably one of my favorite makeup looks you've ever done. I love elf makeup, but now I've found even more reasons to love it. I have really red checks. I have psoriasis and when I was younger I had something called cellulitis which made one of my cheeks super red and I cannot find a good foundation because nothing provides enough coverage to cover up the red. My skin is also outrageously dry, but everything breaks me out. My skin is so sensitive so pretty much everything I use has to be for sensitive skin and sometimes even that doesn't work.

I LOVE their foundation. I have been using it for 2 years now, and even though I have tried other foundations, this is my favorite and go-to. I love elf's face products and brushes. I think they are some hidden gems! You should try out their primers to go with the foundation. They are really good! The only thing I'm not a fan of is their eyeshadows. They are so hit or miss that I usually buy palettes from other brands.

Mia do you have rosacea? I have it, and my skin looks a lot like your skin but really red.. It’s really hard for me to keep my redness down and often makes me look like a tomato but your skin is beautiful! How do you do it?

Peyton Ross I have rosacea also along with eczema and I use Cortizone cream specifically of eczema and that seems to help a little with my rosacea but I like using the Climate Control from SeneGence specifically for my rosacea

I don't have "rosacea" but I have something very similar! it's caused by a gluten sensitivity ! .. I would suggest using a green tone primer to help counter act! you are beautiful no matter what
