I can relate to this. I had a "Lockdown Moment" and chopped my mermaid hair to a bob this length. I finally took the plunge and bleached it all and started living my My Little Pony dreams. ❤ My hair is back to mermaid length, but it is RAINBOW and considerably healthy and smoothy smooth ❤ Glad i lost my mind...

That was my experience when I “chopped” my hair too. Was so attached to my long hair, finally chopped half the length off, and recently I also finally got layers and highlights and sometime soon I’ll dye the highlights purple! The fear and obsession is gone and now I can finally experiment with it.

Yeah, but a lot of us who have really long hair have started bleaching and dying it crazy colours, and we often go back because 1: there's much less upkeep, and 2 damaged hair is hard to take care of and feels awful, and usually has to be styled to look right. I just hope she doesn't overdo it and learn the hard way that hair doesn't grow back quickly. Hair only grows about 6 inches a year, so if you have hair to your butt, that's probably 5 years of growth or more. But I will say, there's no better time to experiment with your hair than when it's already short, because you might actually be able to get it back to looking reasonable within a decent time frame if you severely mess it up

i really liked the fact brad was thoughtful enough to just tone the hair since this was your first time going for a slightly darker color, definitely can go back to a lighter shade with time in case you regret it but let me tell you, this is GORGEOUS, you look radiant! good job brad 👏

This colour (and cut) is fabulous! It's not "brown" -- It's dark blonde -- and it suits you perfectly! You look fabulous! Long and bleached blonde is so generic, so any girl at the mall. Yours is always a more subtle and beautiful colour than that, but this takes it up a notch. This so much more sophisticated, but not in a boring way. You just look like a star now - red carpet or runway ready. LOVE it!

I think I like the straightened hair the best out of the crimped, straightened, and waved options. That’s like the “I’m not taking attitude from anyone today I’m only giving it so get out of my way” cut /style. Very badazz and very beautiful!!! Love it!!! I always saw people saying that long face shapes don't fit really short hair, my face shape is similar to Mia's so I never adventured to go shorter. But this cut made a beautiful frame and balance to your face, it's very 90's futuristic style, modern and suits your fashion style balancing the grandma core w/ a cute and fresh aesthetic. The color did a lot to your skin tone and eyes as well.

I love it straight on you and the color is absolutely fantastic it really does look better with your eyes and skin tone. I think you could also get away with sum more face framing highlights but it now looks so incredibly healthy lol makes me wanna cut my hair short again lol. I’m obsessed! I always pictured a short bob like this for you. Personally I love how it looks crimped. The curls make it lol shorter and older, but overall loving it!!
