Super heavy comment for this lighthearted video but I lost my mom this year and seeing the videos with your mom being so supportive, loving and happy is really healing for me to watch. It reminds me of some of the times when she was really happy which didn't happen a whole lot. I know these videos are meant to be lighthearted and silly or funny but I can't tell you how much it means to me. Thank you so much to you and mama Maples. ❤️❤️

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve also lost a parent, my dad and I were were very close and we kind of lived in a world of our own (both of us are neurodiverse and people often didn’t understand him culturally anyway because he emigrated from India). I miss him terribly and I reflect on his struggles and triumphs, and grief is complicated as I go through my own struggles and triumphs. I’ve gotten to a place where I keep my grief in a little box that I take out and feel sometimes - and I’ve come to a place where it’s a treasure to feel because I take it out and his personality and love shine on me in the form of memories, even when I cry. I hope this gives you sense of love from her, so that you feel her presence and know her connection, and that you get closer every day to the feeling of emotional but joyful memory when you take that ‘grief box’ out. I think anyone who’s a creator is happy when their content gives joy and hope to people who are in grief and sadness, you have no need to apologize for needing people to support and affirm you while you’re going through grief. You’re not bringing anyone down, you’re courageously providing each of us with the opportunity to be vulnerable too, and share our life lessons and love. I’m so glad you did. Sending you love ❤️

Mia you are so blessed to have a mom like yours! She can't hide how much she loves you and always has nice things to say. My mom enjoys pointing out every little flaw I have. If I gain some pounds (she is the first one to say "oh you should exercise), if I am skinny (she calls me skeleton), if I wear my hear down or up, if my shirt is wrinkled, etc... It really crushes your self esteem. I am 37 now and she still does it. So Mia thank you both for always making me laugh and smile. Love you both!😊
