Here's the crazy thing. Even when he was fully healthy. All the Dolphins managed to win with Tua was 11 games and they blew a 3 game division lead at home. That alone should have worried a majority of fans. Yet, the same delusions started all over again in week 1 this season and they'll start again next year in week 1 because the Dolphins are the AEW team in the AFC east. Basically you have your WWE's with the Bills and the Dolphins are consistently playing second fiddle to the top AFC east team. The Dolphins consistently get blown out of the water by the top AFC teams as a whole. If the Dolphins can't even get over the AFC East hump with Tua then why would anybody want to see these inconsistencies continue in this future? As a real fan it's exhausting trying to explain this to the casual Dolphin fans that think that every single game is going to be like playing Madden on easy mode. Unfortunately, this is a problem that will take a few years to fix. It doesn't even matter if they wanted to move on from Tua, because there's so many other pieces we need, especially with how many old vets who will retire over the next few years. At this point they need to fix the O line, and start getting the pieces to replace guys like Armstead, Hill, and Ramsey, who will retire in the next few years, or decline to the point where they don't matter. At this point, the only thing that makes any sense is to run it back the next couple years, then move on from Tua once you get out from under most of his contract if he still hasn't figured it out. The only way to start a rebuild now epuld be to get value for some of these older players, which I don't see happening.

My problem with this whole tua situation is you knew he was injury prone and you the general manager did nothing to beef up the offensive line at all and instead of moving on from players that don't cut it you stick with them and watch them constantly miss assignments, no offensive line, no playoffs, no superbowl

Probably going to be an unpopular opinion but I think I'd rather have him sit this game out and MAYBE have a shot at actually doing something in the playoffs rather than push it and lose him for a longer period of time. e's not going anywhere. He got the contract. I'm not mad about it and I'd like to see him come back healthy and strong next year if (when?) they lose today without him. They're not going far in the playoffs, let's be honest.

Ross should give Grier a contract extension with McDaniel's 3 year so by the time the 3 years is up, the franchise has eliminated it's fan base and the fans that do show up to the games, I'm assuming Dolphfreaky and Big E will be left for the hardcores, that those remaining fans can wear paper bags on their heads fall down drunk after another loss.

This is a 2025 final year for Tua and for Grier unless fortunate that Grier is out at end of season. With the contracts it is best to move on from Tua after the 2025 season and we can move on from Tyreek and at that point should be able to look at the core we have and how well they played in 2025 to put together a younger and more reliable team. That of course is a change in front office thinking or change of personnel and not feeling too confident in that.
