This pats offense is still inconsistent as hell. They can’t drive down the field and score on a regular basis without massive help from the defense. The patriots are the best defense in football, tua was 0-4 the last 4 weeks, and conveniently always gets “hurt” when the going gets tough, if the jets beat Seattle he’ll be out next week, if Seattle wins and the jets are playing for nothing yeah he’ll be there. And it always seems like teddy and skylar gets “hurt” every game they start to avoid a qb controversy. In playoff position when the games matter most tua is 1-6 in games that matter in his career, with the 1 technical win coming in the game fitz bailed out tua vs Oakland in 2020. That’s why fitz had to go, god forbid someone other than tua does better, he’s the first rd pick franchise, he’s the face just like tannehill was, and just like tannehill the only time Miami ever did anything was when Moore led them to the playoffs. If Miami wants to be serious stop treating garbage first rd qbs like the franchise simply because you drafted them. Tua is garbage, so was tannehill. But Miami will never learn, it’ll never and can never be the fault of the franchise qb, it’s impossible obviously.

If you notice, this year, the deep balls that Tua throws to Hill & Waddle, they often have to slow up, to catch them. He rarely hits them in stride, and the passes are frequently underthrown, although I'll admit Tua is very accurate on short/medium throws.

As a neutral observer I was looking for Miami to win, and then when Hill ran in the 1st, after his celebration he went straight past Smythe, who just wanted to congratulate him, and he completely ignored him so that he could do a rehearsed celebration, my hope for the victory was with the Pats.
