It’s a team of coaches that develop the players. Also the Heat is like the gold standard of developing players, they have consistently taken undrafted players and turned them into high-level role players, and spot starters on playoff teams. Jaime is just struggling to adjust. He’s on the scouting report now and doesn’t have any counters…he was working on shooting, and so far it just hasn’t come together for him. If he had any sort of three point shot, he wouldn’t be this bad. Right now he’s completely one-dimensional, and it’s very east to scheme against a player with no bag.

Nothing to worry about as far as these players go. This 5 out offense has screwed multiple players. When you try to make JJJ a spot up 3 point shooter, you're screwing him over. Miami needs to go back to their roots: defense and moving the ball on offense. If you have a mid range shot, take it. Bam and JJJ have suffered the most. Duncan is a starter because this new offense caters to players like Herro and Duncan, so it's no surprise they're eating out there. JJJ, Bam, Rozier are all rhythm players... if they are not playing their game, they make no impact on the game. Blah. Blah. Blah.
@trentsmith52189 күн бұрын
Excuses, he can’t shoot the open 3, play defense, and attack close outs. His attacking the rim is less effective this season bc team know he can’t shoot. That was his problem last year. It’s just. He can’t beat ppl off the dribble with quickness, and him not able to shoot makes it even harder for him to get to the basket, and is one of the worst finisher in the league when he does. It’s so easy to defend him bc he can’t shoot, defense don’t even have to close out on him hard.

Last year Heat fans were proclaiming that JJJ was a young Jimmy Butler. He's a good role player that could be a great trade piece. If trading JJJ as part of a deal for a better player, then so be it.

Give me a break with Jaime. You know he is being put in a corner, deferring to the starters, and forced to shoot 3's. Yesterday instead of him playing pick and roll with Bam and dishing out 3's to either Highsmith, Duncan or Terry he gets put in a corner. His defense is the only highlight of the season. But then again let's pile up on Jaime with this sorry teams woes which this build needs to be blown up.

I mean Jaime just has to be able to hit a jumper
@MaxCamacho8 күн бұрын
@@heatreport agree my friend. I would like to add a few things. First, there were many great players who were mediocre or worse 3 point shooters (Jason Kidd, Julius Erving, Tony Parker, Magic Johnson, Gary Payton, White Chocolate, even Dwyane Wade). Their MO was to do everything else but. Not saying Jaime will be a HOF. All I'm saying is, I just hope Heat fans are not setting lofty expectations for Jaime as a 3 point shooter. Then shooting him down when he doesn't make them. Now if by chance his 3 point shot percentage or his jumper in the paint increases watch out. His game and confidence will skyrocket. Good news for Heat fans. Finally, I've heard other channels (Basement, Heat Beat) making racist comments about his Mexican heritage. It is disrespectful and distasteful and I would never associate with those bigots as a Heat fan. Shame on them. Comment about the game not the person. Sorry if I sounded a bit sensitive. It's been real hard lately to defend Jaime. People are correct in being upset with him at times including myself. Thanks for your response now I can confidently watch the rest of the video 👍. Let's go Heat, peace and rock on Rolly. 🔥🔥🔥

Great rest of the video although I would not entertain trading Jaime. At least not yet. Give the man a longer leash por favor. Finally, the battle between Jaime, Jovic and Larsson will be awesome for the Heat and Heat Nation. Now Terry we can't get rid of him fast enough. I would rather see Isaiah Stevens and/or Josh Christopher. 🙌

The difference between last season and this season is last season JJJ was new to the league and there was not much film on him. This season teams have film on him and has learned his game. He needs to expand his game more. He is experiencing the sophomore slump. Hopefully, he comes out of it soon. TR is simply struggling to find his role with this team. He is undersized, which makes him a liability on defense and his shot selection is not very good due to the type of offense Miami runs. He has heard all of this and I believe that he is indecisive on when to shoot and not to shoot the ball. He appears to be unsure when to be aggressive. In Charlotte, he played in more of a freelance and wide open offensive scheme and had the green light to shoot the ball whenever he wanted to because they had limited scorers on offense. With Miami, they play more of a slower pace, with a lot of motion and pick and roll half court offense, which requires him to think too much instead of just playing his game. Miami wants him to be aggressive and be a scorer, but he does not fit well in their half court offensive scheme. Whenever he is on the court, Miami needs to play with more pace, which will help TR to use his best skill set, which is his speed and quickness. If Miami would play with more pace then you will get the best out of TR. If they are going to play more of a slow pace half court type of offense, then they need to use Dru Smith more, because he is more of a playmaking PG, who passes first. TR is a scorer just Tyler Hero, who has to have the ball in his hands to create his own shot off of the dribble. However, I believe he will be more effective in a more up-tempo type of offense. I do not believe the Heat could trade TR right now because his trade value has been hurt with his underwhelming play of late. TR does not look comfortable just catching and shooting the 3 point ball. He really needs to work on his catch and shoot 3 point shot.

@mrwassef9 күн бұрын
What? He has done nothing to earn a starting role over Duncan, and Jimmy is the starting 3. His defense has also been horrid, absolutely not better than 90% of the team. Also why would you add another non-shooter into the starting lineup? The idea is to spread the floor, not clog the paint. Also Terry IS coming off the bench. This is coming from a Jaime fan…I want to see him succeed, he is just having trouble adjusting his game and more importantly struggling with shooting. He’s very 1-dimensional rn. Terry on the other hand, I sadly have given up on. He works too hard to make shots, makes the game way more difficult than it has to be on him.

Rozier is the heat’s #1 problem. Here is a list of everything that has suffered because of Rozier: - Herro’s development last season trying to defer to “get Rozier comfortable” - Heat’s ability to make off-season moves as “Rozier was the big move” - Riley & UD - Heat training camp wasted on Rozier as a starter - Heat pre-season wasted on Rozier as a starter - Jovic get blamed in the starting unit for Rozier’s bad play & getting taken out of the lineup - the first 15 games wasted to Rozier as a starter - Jaquez development & 6th man candidacy set aside to get Rozier into a 6th man role - the closing lineup because they have to make Rozier still feel valued since he isn’t starting anymore but Highsmith &/or Dru should always be closing - Jovic’s playing time & development given to Rozier - not to mention a 1st round pick & 3 years worth of $20+ mill in salary And yet people still acting like a “breakout is coming”… SMDH
