I've been a heatlifer since day one . What I've noticed about so-called " heat fans" for a very long time is simple. They dont look at the heat and think, " What does the heat need to win and compete for championships?". They look at the heat and think, " Which of my favorite stars should the heat sign to make me feel better?". They're willing to sacrifice the heat present and future just to get the player(s) they want. Then, every off-season is the same thing. They get fixated on the " whales," and when Miami fails to get them or in most cases never go after them, they blame Riley. They aren't looking at the heats needs. They're focused on what THEY want. Every fan can look at the heat at this point and see what they NEED. Young athletic bigs that can help bam and Jimmy. Second thing is NBA vets on the bench that can give them quality minutes. Not " G-league gems " who are taught heat culture, and we hope they can contribute. Look at the roster carefully. it's not that difficult to see what the heat needs.

Jimmy Butler dominated the Bucks in the playoffs last year. Then he claimed tampering when the Bucks traded for Lillard, because Giannis picked Lillard with his 1st pick for last year's All-Star game as a recruiting tactic, idk? Now the NBA has switched back to the East vs West all-star format. I've been a Butler fan since his Marquette days, even if he has been a thorn in the Bucks side.

Jimmy has the intangibles that, in combination with Spo elite coaching, makes the Heat play above their talent level.

That was the past, Butler needs to be traded while he still has value

So glad all the haters and experts and pundits keep picking against the wolves. I kept saying all season this team is built different. It started first game against Celtics. I said wolves in 6 vs suns I said wolves in 6 vs nuggets I said wolves in 6 vs mavs I said wolves in 7 vs celts This was my pre playoff predictions..

Lowery was the 90mil mistake that ended Butlers timeline for a championship. Riley is almost 80 and he is living in the past with old players glory days. Lets not forget Precious Achiwa over Maxi. Could you imagine if Riley would have went after demar derozan instead of lowry we would have won a championship no doubt

I'm a Heat fan and i recognize very clearly the bad behavior, sorry for the dickheads Josh, we have a lot of uneducated homer fans that maybe got a little spoiled by the Lebron years and subsequently the miraculous run we had with Jimmy last year. They expect miracles and "culture" but fail to look at ownership who is not making the big moves that are so publicly talked about and needed for this Bam and Jimmy combo to work. We're only good for photoshopping guys on Heat jerseys. I for one would LOVE for this team for once to try a rebuild of some kind, they stay relevant in the east because of the lack of competition but the peak of this lineup core was the bubble. The team needs to try Bam at the 4 again with a true big, let go of Haywood, Josh, Patty, Caleb, and possibly let Jimmy walk... a lot needs to change but unfortunately I think they will just pay Jimmy and keep riding the "culture" bullshit going for a couple of years, they will make the playoffs anyway and make even a second round just on Spo and guts, and really it's relatively successful compared to other east teams but not being able to win the championship and build a proper team around Jimmy's good years has been painful to watch as a true Heat fan. Oh yeah and BTW the Lowry trade was not neccesary, bringing Mills was irrelevant, Josh R and Thomas Bryant? WTF was that... we really we ended up in a worse spot than a year prior with the roster. The only positive notes are Jovic and Jaquez who will have to be traded if the Heat want to get anything decent out of Jimmy's last couple of years. We're fucked.

The chance that James Butler leaves and Hero operates the PnR with Bam for huge value all year is exciting
