Alot of those hoods in miami are going to be torn down and redevelop. Thats why you hardly see alot of people hanging out and some of them are boarded up. You can actually see some of the new apartments in parts of this vid. Sorry alot of the original tenants will not be able to afford to live there after the redevelopment.

It was a long time ago, but it does not seem to have changed much here in the shadow of what I suspect is I-95, though it's hard to say for sure. All of these hoods in Miami will be gone and redeveloped in 10 more years. The pork n beans are gone too. Miami is the fastest gentrifying city in America.
