I absolutely HATE when they change the helmet. The classic helmet with the all white and the orange and green U on the sides with the stripe down the middle is what we need to stick with. Also I really like what adidas has been doing lately. I’m not sure why they get so much hate. Not to mention our baseball and basketball unis have been 🔥.

The fan favorite for me is definitely the 01-04 Jerseys. I just truly like it. I think I like it so much because my first jersey was the 04 Hester when I was a kid in 4th grade. My first game was the LSU Miami bowl game (disappointing), but I will never forget seeing my favorite player, Hester, wear the same Hersey I had on. ALSO GREEN IS MY FAVORITE JERSEY 😊

Coach Coop, I thought you said "ALL TIME." Did you know that the University of Miami played football prior to 1974, the first season that they incorporated the green and orange "U" into their football uniforms? When I was a kid growing up at the Orange Bowl during the Andy Gustafson and Charlie Tate eras, my beloved 'Canes wore gold pants with green and white stripes, white jerseys with green numbers or green jerseys with white numbers and gold helmets with a green stripe, after 1968 with red and black hurricane flag decals on the sides. There wasn't even a hint of orange on their uniforms. To me, it never made sense having gold pants and helmets, like Notre Dame. Adding the hurricane flags were an authentic touch, but added red and black to the mix. Although I loved my 'Canes and their uniforms, they did suffer from ugly uniforms syndrome. I too grew up in the Andy Gustafson and Charlie Tate eras, and who could forget Fran Curci? Good to see there's actually someone in these rooms that go back as far as I do with Canes football! LOL! We do have to keep in mind that many of these KZbin Canes shows are led by people that weren't even born prior to the Jimmy Johnson era. They all do a really awesome job with these shows, and my hat goes off to all of them and the great work they do to keep us fans informed and entertained! Thanks Coach Coop and all the Canes KZbinrs for the great job you do!

The last one shown make it a standard - with always the right shade of green and orange jerseys, white pants & always the white helmet with the right size & colored U. Exception the Miami Nights uniform only on special occasions at night. Period no more experiments by Adidas, Nike or whoever.!!

Some things I'd like to see Miami try moving forward on uniforms: matte helmet with glossy U logo, oversized double red flags on one side of helmet, Adidas variation of early 2000 jerseys, chrome accents throughout uniform. I think these would be some good things to try. Obviously not all of those on the same uniform.

All white Nike pro combats with split numbers green and orange are the best. I have about all the jerseys from early Nike. First jersey was Tyrone moss in that good green from 03 04

2001 combo, 1987, 1989 comboos' all good, even 1960 Kelley Cochran Era is ok. Gold pants, gold helmets white jerseys green shoulders.

You said maybe get rid of the gold on the Hurricane Warning uniforms but those were the uniforms they wore in the 60s Absolutely love those uniforms I’m in the minority when it comes to loving plain/simple uniforms but I do. Also love green and gold as a combo. And the teal color on the parlay uniforms represents ocean green for the uniforms being made from recycled ocean plastic

I agree with everything on this list. But one that I loved was the military appreciation uniform from 2015 especially the splash of brown with the boots 🥾 I thought that was pretty dope they can take the silver off the helmet tho but other than that I thought it was a cool uni

Nike gear is inferior to Adidas. Adidas won me over by undoing most of the Nike crap. Nike also screwed with the color palette. Adidas has kept the colors true to form.
