Coop Miami is going to have a crap year compared to this one the fact that players are not only hitting the portal but you have players that are backing out of their commitment to come to Miami. There's no good prospects coming their way in the near future you know it and I know it 2025 season is doomed until they not only get rid of the defensive coach but also the head coach they truly have to start from scratch they have scratch players starting next year

You can’t even build a camaraderie with players on your team anymore because they all leave after a year. I’m not feeling it. It’s really not even fun anymore. Worse than the NFL now.

It's amazing to me the mindset of these kids in today's society. As pleyers coming into major Colleges/University sports programs expecting to start right away, and if you don't, you leave after the 1st year... not even giving yourself a chance for development, so that you can compete at high level.... I know some of these aren't as cut an dry, but seems to happen alot more frequently now.

See in the past reason why teams like Miami were so good and were able to win championships is because they were able to maintain continuity. If you had a defensive line, chances are some of those guys have been lining up next to each other for 3-4 even 5 years. You're not going to have that anymore in any of these schools

The problem I have is with the way the defense played this year. Why didn't we plug some of those kids in and see if they were better than the starters. I always believed that you use every tool in the toolbox to not only enhance but better and develop what you have on the team.

Exactly and dudes don't understand that the fact is this defense was the reason why we're not playing for a national championship this year even though we had the number one offense in the country. The way the defense look they completely helded us back and at that point you got to try something people keep saying maybe they weren't doing what they were supposed to do or they wasn't good in practice (the players that's leaving) but my point is this when you're a coach you have to swallow your pride sometimes and take a chance on younger talent when the talent that you brought in to lead them isn't playing well enough.

I’m hearing they will and they definitely need to put limits on the transfer portal. I’m not overly concerned with the players we’re losing, every team is losing players to the portal. I’m not sure what restrictions they can place on portal transfers but there definitely needs to be limits. Possibly 2 transfers per player and they need to be separated by 1 or 2 years. This will stop the FA type of transfer we’re experiencing now and it will also make these kids think a lot harder before transferring and where they transfer. Just a thought

That's tough, once you hit several outbound transfers at the end of one season, I think it starts to look like a lack of faith for next year. (When players leave cause too many other more talented players are in front of them, it's no big deal. But when starters or even 2nd string transfer it doesn't look good.
