AED does not start a stopped heart! It stops a heart with irregular rhythm so you can restart it with CPR. Good thing it's automatic.

Wait a moment, I'm not sure if I'm right or wrong, but wouldn't you use a defibrillator in the case of irregular heart beating like ventricular fibrillation? If the heart actually stops beating, you should use CPR and not a defibrillator. Anyone knows more about this?

For those out there who are deciding on becoming a cop,it's not as easy as it looks. Police work is no joke,I see why they go through these trainings and regulations. I learn from my old college professor in MDC. He's a police officer,that trains new recruits. I remember him saying, if my memory serves me right. " There is more to a cop,then wearing a gun and badge.
