This is awesome! I did this 20 years ago, except I launched from Pompano Beach. I was on a VXR650 and my buddy was on an old school 500. We planned on refueling in Biscayne Bay but when we arrived they refused to sell us fuel while afloat, had to get permission from the harbor master to approve the fuel as we were between places. It was one of the most memorable moments of my 56 years. Buzzing the beaches at sun-up with dolphins chasing, through the mangroves, it was epic!

Great job. At 20:00 into your video you approach the south end of the Bahia Honda Bridge where both the old and new bridge reach land. Back in the 70's we would camp along that seawall in our vans. Camp 3 and 4 days at a time. We would fish all morning off that seawall, and late at night we would head out on the old bridge by foot to shark fish. Tarpon, snook, snapper, shark and early morning jack crevalle runs. Diving for lobster and netting shrimp under the moon light right into a pot of boiling water. I have so many great stories and memories from back then. Things have changed. Good luck in your adventures.

We did a trip in 2015 from Bonita Springs, FL…Put into the imperial river close to home and then cruised down to Marco island for a final refuel. Our SeaDoo had 16 gallons in the tank and we carried 3 5 gallon canisters in our rear rack. Then we headed due south through the open gulf for 90 miles…We needed to refuel about 60 miles in with an electric pump from the gas cans to the front…We got to Key West with about 9 gallons left. Here is how that tree grows on the bridge. Over time, the wind, sun and weather erodes the concrete to the point, cracks appear. Believe it or not, rain, wind, storms will carry fine sediment, which collects in these cracks and other deformations in the structure of the bridge. Birds eat seeds and poop them out, and one such seed was pooped into an area where it was able to germinate, and grow and become healthy enough to survive. Hence, the tree you see here today.

Hello and just had this video load into my list but I enjoyed every minute. Hope you are safe and enjoyed the very long journey from Miami to Key west and back! One suggestion- get like several girls and guys with their Seadoos follow you on a tour from Miami to Key West so that they can also experience the adventure while charging them each a fee for the tour! Or Miami to another island on tours. Once you feel confident and comfortable venturing out to these unknown places, you can set up tours. Good luck!

I have seen people say they would pay for this but it would be a big liability if someone got hurt
