Most of the time the cool winds come from the Pacific Ocean with the coastal mountains. The Santa Anna winds come from NE to SW across the Mojave Desert. Usually, those winds come in September and early October.

I love that idea from Ro about getting the #2 guy from the NFL to be the NCAA "commissioner". Any commissioner types from 1 of the major leagues (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB) would be great to lead this. My only concern would be the commissioners from the SEC & BiG10 succeeding power to this person. I feel Greg Sanky would burn down Alabama University before giving away power.

"What is wrong with us?" It's not Mario. True, Mario is the 'head coach'.. the face and the representative of our team..the CEO. But the real 'shit' falls on the shoulders of the coordinators, position coaches, and whomever is evaluating talent. Coaches are teachers. Mario technically is 'the coach', as I said... but he's not directly responsible for developing the talent. Mario is the 'hunter'. He takes the info from the coordinators and goes out and tries to acquire the pieces that his coordinators request, or need, to do their job as effectively as possible..and then some. Lance failed. He didn't tell his boss what he needed and it showed badly this year. Shannon.. he's not as good as we were on offense this year. Cam made that turd shine. Next year is going to be harsh if we don't get a kid in that fits his offense. On game day, Mario has an idea, typically, of how he'd like a game to go and he has to trust his coordinators to have the weapons to facilitate his game plan. This year, Mario caught a break. Shannon had Cam, and for the most part, Mario was able to just say "fuck it" and he let Shannon and Cam roll. Mario HAS TO load up on defense during this off season, regardless of who we get as a DC. The defense is going to HAVE TO be extremely better. They're going to have to hide our soon to be exposed, offensive coordinator, if we don't hit a home run for a QB1
