MIAMI urban canal fishing (BEST FISH FOR LAST)

Saw some videos of the urban peacocks in Miami and decided to fly out and give it a try. First day was rough, only landing a couple on some crank baits as well as a jaguar cichlid. Second day, they wouldn't hit anything so I decided to switch tactics so that the trip wasn't a bust. Normally I stay away from live bait as much as possible but this trip was more of a reconnaissance mission and I still wanted the boy to have fun.
We were fishing the shiners with size 4 hooks, 6lb Fluro leaders and 30lb braid backing.
