Slip rig. 3oz no roll slip weight, bead on each side with a slip bobber at the top tied to a barrel swivel. Then a foot long leader of 17lb mono and 5/0 Hook.

I think they put out a call for every barnyard and got them all in that boat! Wow, I’ve been on a lot of boats and seen some knuckleheads but the sheer quantity of them on that boat is impressive! Great fish by the way and way to hang in there with it!!!

my personal experience with buying 300 dollar rods is that this rod it's only 180 its feels very high quality it has Fuji guides and a seat, this by far its the best budget rod and it has lifetime warranty pulls big fish without a problem

them sneaky sea lions always trying steal your fish last trip i was on seen some poor Arab fisherman just puling in heads of yellows and Bonita heads at least 8 bloody heads that I counted cant wait till i get out this year maybe in a month or two great video

+Ben Sussman I've had luck straight down, way out, mid out, everywhere. Just depends where thr fish are. Longer casts can get you out past everyone though, which can be effective
