As as a police firearms instructor it is great to see the employment of iron sights during qualifications, many departments and the military don't properly train in the use of iron sights anymore. Great video and stay safe out there, we have a long road ahead and it is our job to pave the way.

Interesting to see officers from my home country (Germany) training with Miami SWAT. Are you able to disclose if they were LKA or BKA, meaning from a state or the federal police force? Just gonna rule out a city sending officers over - that would really suprise me to be honest.

Tomasz W No, they are not. The international students are not becoming police officers in America. The SWAT unit extends the courtesy to law enforcement internationaly that are already in an equivalent “SWAT” team in their country. They attend our school to enhance their training and then go back to their respected countries.

Jay Neutron can’t think of that either. Here in Germany SWAT School is like 6 month. I belive that it is some type of extra qualification for street cops to get more higher qualified cops in the field.

Adding skills?… my course was 14weeks long. The cqb drills aren’t that good. I spent 3 weeks just doing room drills. I guess the standard isn’t that high.
