Sam doesn't deserve everything he's been through, he's kind-hearted and sweet and a survivor. I love that u put those small details of Sam being lost and vulnerable. sooo there are a lot of amazing comments here and i don't really think i can compete with those, but i guess i'll just write what i feel. :D So, you already know that i love sleeping at last, but there are other composers that create similar kind of music and one of them is message to bears, whose song you used in this video. Now, this song hits me so bad in the feels and i don't have any idea why. But it does. It just... i don't know, really hurts ;d I really hope you know what i'm trying to say. Like, it's the *most beautiful* thing you have ever heard, but it's so God damn painful and it just reminds you of important people that you love and lost and other things and just of everything that is beautiful and painful at the same time. You just have to listen to it to understand and feel it yourself. It's that kind of song that i'd sob to, you know? While watching Sam Winchester, or Sam and Dean or any other characters and relationships that are very important to me. And the thing is, i don't really cry. I could feel really hurt and my heart could be really broken, but somehow, my body just wouldn't respond. And then something really small could happen, that doesn't even affect me that much, but i'd cry. It's pretty weird :s. The thing is, this song is the one, that literally makes me want to sob. It's *beautiful* and i'm just really really glad you used it with sam c: By the way, if we're talking about music, I would love to recommend Ólafur Arnalds to you. He's a composer too, he's not that known, but his piece ,, lag fyrir ömmu" probably hurts me more than this one actually. It's... well, I already explained the feeling. But it's *beautiful* (i use that word a lot... can't seem to find another one that describes it better) and if you'd use it with your next sam or sam and dean video, i think it would be amazing. Jared Padalecki is *so* fucking important to me. I mean, you know Sam is fictional and he's not real and you shouldn't be feeling the way that you're feeling, but somehow when you watch him you just can't really help it. He's relatable or close to heart almost to *everyone* . That's why most of (if not all of) Sam girls love him. It's cause they see him inside themselves, because Sam helped them through so much, because they feel like there is finally a person that understands them, that *knows* and is there, and just... you know. Every time, all he tried to do, was the right thing. And every time something wrong happened and he was misunderstood again and again and then he started believing that he's done wrong and that it's his fault himself and just.. i get so angry when fangirls get protective of Dean and start accuse Sam of something, of being wrong, of doing wrong all the time, of Dean always being the hurt one. Don't get me wrong, i love Dean just as much (well, i still haven't figured that out tbh, i guess i just love them both as much, just in different ways) as Sam, but no. If you're going to make Sam the wrong one - you're wrong. After all that he has done, all he wanted was some fricking normal life. To rest, Jesus Christ. It was his dream. Yes, maybe he didn't look for Dean, but excuse me, can't you give Sam at least that one thing that he wanted so long? I can't help, but think, that if he didn't look for Dean (which, okay, was very weird for me too), he had his reasons. ENOUGH OF RAMBLING sorry again. I love the flow of the video. Everything just goes word after the other and it creates some kind of a story. Nothing feels out of place and the whole video I didn't move a finger while watching. The voice-overs are super clear and they immediately pull you in even more (Jared's deep voice AND acting are only helping). The scenes switch very smoothly, you don't even notice it and.. i don't know, something in this video makes you wanna watch and watch again and again. It's like reading a really good book. I don't know. Hard to explain. I don't know what you've done differently, but it worked owo. As always, *the parallels* . I mean, you're kind of a parallel queen if i'm being honest. yes, we definitely do! I hate when people blame everything on sam, because neither he or dean are perfect: they both made mistakes, but for good reasons, and we should love them nonetheless. I loved this video but for Dean also it has not been easy and he has also struggled equally in this whole thing. I love Sam as a character but nobody ever asked Dean if he felt ok to be a hunter, to constantly worry about Sammy forgetting about himself and never being a kid...I do love Sam and the video is very good but I also feel for Dean as well...
