I have a 97 1.8 I’ve got a custom muffler, a true cold air intake runs from throttle body to the front of the radiator and is sucking as much cold air as it can, I have the evap delete done and I have cut weight due to some nice racing wheels and I run a 205/50/15 and I’m getting really good results with the setup. I’m going to do Ohlins in a few months and then I’m going to do some gsxr 600 itbs and run a plenum to keep stock ecu and maf but I should be getting some even better results with that setup bc my car runs extremely well and I’ve not even touched the motor

Dude this is great, but watch out for the debries when you run without a filter, just in this video you can see a large amount of particles getting sucked in the engine. It will create extra friction and critically damage your cylinder walls, no hating just an head ups!

just wondering why you swith from slivertop itb to gsxr itb? isnt the slivertop itb have bigger diameter?

I switched from the silvertop to gsxr itb was because: At the moment, i was learning how to setup itb and learn how to tune it. I was also curious how both itb setup were different from one another and the benefits of both. From cost to parts availability, including pros and cons. So, only one way to find out was to do both. So than I experimented with both setups. Including tuning and all. I then settled and decided to keep the gsxr setup. Due to more parts availability and more affordable. It cost less, and since it was a 2 barrel itb, it was easier to sync. The 4age silvertop, to make sure that it was properly synced. There's more to it than just using a synchrometer. The gsxr750 are 50mm tapered to 40mm and the silertop are 45mm tapered to 43mm. I'm working on reloading up the silvertop video again because it was a 3-part video, and I'm going to just shorten it up to one video.

wow so the ITB made slightly less power than the AFM delete. is there more area under the curve though?

@chinnerz2 for a stock engine, you either gain or lose. My stock 1.6 lost a couple of hp, but it gained a couple more in torque. And I was totally fine with that. I think if I would have gone with a gsxr600 (38mm) with 100mm velocity stacks. It would be a perfect match for the stock 1.6

Vacuum lines work just fine. All individual Vacuum lines from each throttle body go into a Vacuum block

It has cobalt headers & racing beat exhaust system in it. Catalyst delete. The itb setup is on a 5th revision, so I'll redo another dyno update in the spring.
