I knew you were a great teacher, but I never knew you were a car guy. This was a fantastic discovery. I've got a Roadstersport 3 on my 1991 and it's excellent. It braps when you stomp on it and gently hums when you're cruising.

I really like the sound, and I like the three levels of sound you can achieve with the easy add baffles that are available. You can run the muffle san baffle, with a cone baffle, and a packed baffle. The last will be very nice on long trips because it can sound almost stock on the interstate. My friend and I just changed the timing belt on his 91 Miata:) Great car.

My NA miata used to have all Zerek Fabratication safety from the rollbar, door bars, roof bar tie, etc. Ended up getting Blackbird's wing and the build quality alone sold me. Their bars always interested me.. I feel like I'm in the same spot looking at 5.0s, camaro ss, Q50 3.0t, Cayman, Vette's... and I own a 03 G35S Coupe 6spd lol.

Great upload, I received my Goodwin Roadster Super Street muffler today, had the same issue with one of the studs getting stuck in the old muffler. I tried everything to get it loosened and used your trick with the grips - phew! Thanks for the tip :) Now my ND GT finally sounds like it should. Cheers from Australia.

I have a 2017 rf launch with the 155hp motor and a 6mt, and its quick enough. I even get upper 30s mpg on the highway when taking it easy. I plan on putting the same exhaust on mine this summer. Down the road I would love to put a posi in the rear too as mine didn't come with one.

Anything you don't like about the new muffler?

I did not remember when I made this video, because I was so excited to install the muffler, that it comes shipped with a preinstalled cone baffle. It is right at the tip held in with one bolt. I generally drive without a baffle..no cone or the optional packed baffle I purchase for about $30. With no baffle there is even more burble and popping than you hear in this video. It sounds great. The only negative is the large amount of bass sound decelerating around 1800-2200 rpm driving slowly. It is overly loud off-gas driving slowly. I also would not want to drive on the interstate for hours on end without a baffle installed. It is not obnoxious, just my preference. Want to cruise around with the wife or take a very long drive? Just take 20 seconds and put in one of the baffles. So there really are no negatives. You can adjust the sound to your liking for little to no money. You have two sound levels, or 3 if you purchase the small packed baffle. I LOVE THIS MUFFLER:D

a simple 5 minute job can take 1 hour sometimes - happens to everyone now and then. With removing those studs - one more idea, a little heat on the flange might have helped. The double nut idea is a common trick used by many mechys. If all else fails brute force with multi-grips or pipe wrench with a risk of damaging the stud.

My friend that helped with the roll bar has more tools and could have helped in heating the flange. Thanks for the suggestion for any of my future adventures:) All of that time and minor damage to the one stud would have been saved, had I just tried to get out the stud stuck in the old muffler first with the channel locks since the double nut idea did not work! Or had I had a spare nut sitting around that fit the threads...

The red accent stripe is red vinyl tape I applied. It takes some trial and error, but a roll is cheap on Amazon and still looks like new 6 years later.

@Pety 12 Once you get the end of the tape attached you need to run out like three feet with the hand holding the vinyl tape. Then either use the other hand to help the tape lay down or just use your eye from a distance. There is definitely a learning curve and trial and error, but the tape is cheap.

just had the exact Fabwork rollbar installed on my 2023 ND. It was installed by a shop. Not confident enough to do the install myself. After the install I notice the roof lever located between the 2 headrest is alot harder to lift up now. Shop said the lever assembly is now bolted onto the roll cage. And that it was normal. I was wondering you had the same experience?

Yes the latch is bolted to the rollcage. Mine initially did not have enough bite and I had to add a washer or two to lean the latch toward the front of the car.

The sound is just from the GWR exhaust with a pre-installed cone baffle, no cat delete. I did not realize the free cone baffle was pre-installed with my excitement. It is a bit louder with a touch more burble with the baffle removed. There is a single bolt under the exit pipe you can remove to take out the baffle. The only time the exhaust is slightly annoying is coasting/decelerating with the RPM between 2000-2600 at slow speeds. BUT, I love the exhaust overall!!!

I purchased the optional packed sound baffle to complement the included baffle. With 3 sound options I run the exhaust with no baffle:D I absolutely love this muffler and still get tons of compliments on my car's sound.
