Always good to see the D850 in action Phil. LE was cool with light trails 👍

Thanks for letting me tag along! We need to get out and about again. I might even end up using my tripod again.

@@RaySoldano I had a blast, Ray! I’m probably gonna do street photography downtown Chattanooga tomorrow around lunchtime depending on how bad I feel after going to the dentist tomorrow morning.

I really enjoy when you do photo shoots and explain your reasoning. Why you’re doing the shoot getting light on the buildings, etc. it’s nice to see how another photographer works and what’s in their mind before the shoot. Keep up the great work thanks Karen Vaisman.

It's definitely one of our more captivating parking garages for lack of a better word, so it's cool seeing it captured in this way!

This was great. I’ve been meaning to get up to Portland for some cityscapes and abstract shot, so thank you for the inspiration! I’ll definitely have to keep in mind the trick about framing so my lines are straight. Thanks!

Crazy how much distortion was in the straight lines even with a perfectly level horizon. Do you think a mirrorless camera and lens combo would have done a better job correcting that?
@PhilThach13 күн бұрын
I don’t think a lack of mirror would have made much difference. I think all wide lenses distort near the edges, perhaps some more than others.
@PhillipRPeck13 күн бұрын
@@PhilThach I just mean newer lenses and cameras seem to have more software corrections enabled in camera
