@@darkrider962 Yeah it is kind of surprising. Jays have had some great home run hitters in the past like Bautista, Encarnacion, Delgado, McGriff, Bell and others like Frank Thomas and Jose Canseco among others.

Wow this is different than HR Derby used to be. You got a set # of outs instead of unlimited pitches in X amount of time. It made the entire atmosphere different. The camera and announcers would follow every ball hit and would wait until it landed before throwing the next pitch. So you'd have em calling "back back back back back GONE!" on every homerun. Or "at the warning track!" etc... I really liked the atmosphere but they obviously can't do that in a timed event like it is now.

It's time for the Mariners to get theirs. And they need to hire Jr on as a coach when they get to the playoffs so he can get a ring when they win. He truly deserves one. Even as a coach. They did incredible at the WBC. Wish they could've brought it all home. Junior really deserves something. Whether it's a WBC win or World Series as a coach.
