im a QLD supporter and played footy most years through school/high school. but this type of content is amazing. i hope more of it is coming :) this is the next step of coaching after junior footy but before NRL level intensity coaching.. its cool to see the progression of depth of knowledge in players as they grow. instead of playing footy as a kid not knowing much about shapes etc and seeing fully fledged nrl players who make the right choices a lot of the time with nothing in between since i didn't play past year 11

Hodgson was a great player, he's origin debut was one of the best debuts in origin history. After that he was average, but I would say Andrew Johns retiring after the 2005 series at the peak of he's powers, was what started the QLD dynasty. If he plays in that 2006 series, NSW probably win, and the dynasty starts in 2007.

Coaches often tell young players to talk but they don't tell them what types of things they should be saying. No use talking and not actually communicating

Poor Hodgson hasn’t had a very good origin career

He's first game in 2002 was one of the best origin debuts by any player. He ran for the most metres on the field and scored an 80 metre try from the scrum base. But he was average from then on.
