Thank you for updating about Mica's case, for clarifying the Francis family's position, that the case is not over, as J.P.'s attorney implied, and for sharing that they did not ask the public to not protest for justice for Mica. Sending my appreciation from England.

They have been so busy fighting JP that it must have given them ulcers. Heck, he gives me ulcers! Right now, they need to step back, regroup, grieve, and work on Mica's Law. Everyone who is watching needs to relax! Mica's family did what they had to do for their mental and emotional well-being. ❤

All great information! I love Badges Gone Bad! I am from Greenville, SC. My family owns a farm in Laurens, SC. I currently reside in Gaffney, SC. In 1993 I first witnessed Badges Gone Bad. My Father was told by the Solicitor of Laurens County that he needed to sue Laurens County Police Department. Since that time I have witnessed a lot of Badges Gone Bad, specifically in Spartanburg and Cherokee County… I have respect for law enforcement until Badges Gone Bad occurs. It is truly disgusting, but it’s the way the good ole boys work in South Carolina. Thank you all so much for keeping us informed. I love SC, but I am disgusted with the behavior of some of our residents, and those who are supposed to serve and protect.

I listened intently when counsel for the miller family was retained. It was clear that counsel took the case, when many wouldn’t. She was extremely clear that she’s a civil attorney and would only be assisting in that manner. So zero reasons to be upset with counsel, as she’s been pivotal in Mica’s law, which can do more for Mica’s legacy than any judgement. No one controls the IRS, FBI, or state prosecutors. That will be up to them. Finally, it’s clear by the “lack of a smugness” by her husband ; That lets me know a lot: he’s acutely aware of spending legal funds best for his personal fees. He needs to have a lot of 💰💰💰for his possible legal ramifications.

Regina was counsel for the Francis family. That’s Mica Miller’s family, as Francis was her maiden name. The Miller family would be her husband and his family.

Curious, Regina's interview was before the 15 minutes in chamber, can she confirm that the FBI is investigating Mica’s demise, via at the request of RCSO, or via Mica's request/report befor her demise?

Talk and say what? If the story is true at all, Wilson does NOT know what he hit. It may well be that he hit a deer and that some out-of-town, or even out-of-state, car accidentally hit Stephen Smith and continued not even knowing that (s)he hit someone. People should accept that someone who intentionally walked into on-coming traffic got hit by something protruding out of a car traveling at great speed. Everyone for whom Sanctimonious Sandi Smith is the prime occupation in life should go coercive-control themselves and leave the rest of us alone.

And Sanctimonious Sandi Smith ("SSS") DID first accuse Stephen's boyfriend, "Marc did it. Marc did it" reported Stephanie Smith to the investigators on her mother's obsession with that Marc until that Marc had to get some restraining order against SSS or leave town. Then SSS and her co-conspirator Moore began attacking the reputation of Dr. Erin Presnell, who did the first (and later independently-confirmed) autopsy on Stephen. SSS even went to Katie Couric's podcast to complain of Dr. Presnell, whom Couric EXPLICITLY accused of incompetence and suggested de-licensing. And despite having a pro bono lawyer (Andy Savage) and investigator (Steve Patterson) who ASSURED SSS that no Murdaugh was involved, SSS still wrote to the FBI that BOTH Paul and Buster did it with baseball bats. And now, even AFTER Buster is PROVEN to have had nothing to do with it, the anti-Murdaugh team turned the vicious rumors on the deceased and defenseless Paul. Just as people are now asking who drove Mica Miller to pull the trigger on herself (and my answer is whoever urged her to stop taking her necessary bipolar medications), they should ask who DROVE Stephen to walk into oncoming traffic on an unlit highway rode with no traffic signals or EFFECTIVE speed limits? My answer is SSS herself with her neglect of Stephen (he did not live with her) her lack of financial support for him (she gave him no money for gasoline or for his uniform) and her grandiose expectations of him (she pretended he was "on his way to be a doctor" when he was failing his nursing school classes or cutting them to go nude-dancing for money). I wish people would be "gentle" on the victims of SSS's false accusations and advise her to look instead inside herself and admit her own role. I think you mean well with your reply; but PLEASE do not limit your compassion to SSS. She is NOT the only one suffering because of what happened.

In the event Mica’s cell phone or watch gets “wiped” or destroyed, can her service provider provide a complete dump of her account. I am sure all of her information is backed up on a sever somewhere. As well, can the same thing be done with JP’s cell phone? Remember nothing on the internet ever gets completely erased.

I think Mica’s family was wise, you see too many people involved in civil litigation that just drags on and on for years. I hope the settlement included some sort of provision for the charity that Mica started, since her sisters I believe indicated they wanted to try to keep it going. Now JP is out of their hair, but not getting off scot free since it sounds like the line is queuing up to get a piece of him….
