Because this amazing singer won’t say it I will, I don’t think she got a fair shot from American Idol. The long standing truth is American Idol choses several people for their oddities and entertainment value so people with real talent like this Micaela McCall don’t have a spot. That is why they didn’t show more than her initial performance, or there would be outrage. Which is why the Voice is a much better show, it’s all about who sings the best, not who entertains people for their odd behavior or has the saddest story.

Her Hollywood and showstopper rounds must have not been good. How can that be though.? This performance was through the roof good. It was really the only memorable audition for me. This was so good that I come back to it sometimes just to hear pure joy. Not only did she not make it to the top 24.. we didn’t even get to hear her Hollywood and showstopper round performances. They are no where to be found. Had to have been close to bad.

better voice the most so far. this year is hurting for talent. australian voice much better talent. american idol so far has three possible but nothing outstanding yet.
