Huge congratulations to Micah. Making the olympics is a big accomplishment

Micah may just be the humblest athlete out there. His outlook on the decision makings for the Olympic team is tough for most people to wrap their heads around. So huge congrats to him for that and for being chosen!

I’d say this roster is stacked. Good luck boys!!!!!

The most USAV thing in the world is to announce the roster before letting the players tell their families. Unreal, that organization never fails to amaze me
@macyrakk4 ай бұрын
Unfortunately with the way people leak things, I fully understand that decision. Imagine a family publicly posting “congrats to our son” and confirming it before USAV can.

Re: doing fun stuff and risking injury I hope people learned from the pandemic what is risked in those weeks leading up to events you’ve worked towards your whole life. Crabb probably wishes he would have stayed home a few more times before Tokyo. Even when we’re talking about the practices leading up to Paris, injury happens, but minimizing chances to get hurt is smart. Let’s go Micah!

Question for Micah: was there a specific reason why u switched from a two hand toss to a one hand toss on ur jump serve? Is that a trend throughout volleyball?
@macyrakk4 ай бұрын
It’s a different serve/the toss allows for you to hit it different
@Fsnoreen3 ай бұрын
In my personal experience, it’s harder to get your contact hand to the ball quicker on a two hand toss

Joe and Gage should not have declined being on the NT. Imagine all 3 of you playing on Week 1 on VNL. It would have been 2-2 instead of 1-3 😂
@bigkev26684 ай бұрын
Even if they were playing NT ball, gage is the only one with the chance at a VNL roster, neither would have a shot at olympics. You can be realistic instead of ridiculous

I don't think that's the case. Micah ma'a is much better in terms of serve and blocking and faster than josh tuaniga, he is clear second choice behind Christenson
