I played worship music 24/7 and tried to read the Bible to get out of those depressive feelings bcuz i heard Jesus saves but i kept getting the same feelings and attacks over and over again. The only One who can overcome this is Jesus. U need to pray to Jesus to deliver u from this. It will be a fight but i promise u, u will get out of this in Jesus name! “cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.” ‭‭I Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart- These, O God, You will not despise.”‭‭ Psalms‬ ‭51:17‬ ‭ The reason u dont feel free yet is because there is some place in ur life that u havent surrendered fully to God yet. I suggest u start repenting everyday of all ur sins bcuz it will get u on a clean scale with God. (Repentance is not just asking for forgiveness, but its turning away from that sin as well). Plus we are flesh so we sin regularly and we need to repent, but if Jesus is there to help us, He will change that. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭1:9‬ . Next u need to understand that those feelings are all unclean spirits (demons): spirit of depression, spirit of anxiety, spirit of suicide, spirit of laziness, etc. Jesus gave us authority over every and any unclean spirit so u can call them out and cast them out in Jesus name into the pits of hell where they belong. “And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:18-19‬ ‭(those serpents and scorpions aren’t literal, they are spiritual) Next u need to start changing what u watch on tv, ur actions, and forgiving ppl who hurt u. Demons enter in ppl when we allow them to by what we watch, do, or say. God said be Holy because I Am Holy. Finally surround urself with some true christians who actually want to grow in the Lord and push u as well. If u dont have any heres my insta @jesniiii dm me. One of my closest friends went to Heaven yesterday after fighting MS for most of her life. She recently had the Covid vaccine and I’m struggling with that. She left quickly.
