I went back to the first episode and thought, "just fill that banker's box full of cash and send it with the bus to Vacaville (I lived 3 miles from Skinner's for 14 years and saw lots of VWs there)." I suppose it fell through the cracks. When you have a moment with Robert ask him if he still has contact with a couple by the name of Tom and Dawn Kerr. They are both VW owners. talk about taking something down to the ground and then coming back up again...knew a guy in Atlanta back in the `70s that would scour the country for old vehicles made in the `20s-`40s and do ground up restorations...he would coat everything (after cleaning and all) with DuPont Imron...one day was with him and he told me to pick up a hammer and hit the frame of an old 'boat-tail' Studebaker and the darned hammer would bounce off when struck and you could press it with your hand and it would 'give' but boy is that stuff expensive...great video Mic as usual man...

Wow! What a great job with the video and documenting the progress on your bus. It is turning out awesome so far! I'm sure that it will be great when it is finally all finished. It must be quite an adventure being able to stay there while all the work is going on. Not to sound stupid or anything, but the guys leave and close up the shop at 5:00 and then you hang out in the yard? I'm sure there must be times when that can get pretty scary at night. They have rotisseries that can be operated by one person with rams and some guys even have ones with gears and chain setups that can be rotated with an electric motors. btw Sand will be falling out of that bus for years to come that's what sand blasting does unless you take an air gun to it for a long long time and even then its hard to get it all out.
