What sucks is Music runs in my family and it stopped at me. Way to go Warren Dunlevy Jr.

MAB can play anything. His solo albums are very diverse. MAB rules!

@Spider3717 Lol I think this is about as close as you'll get to hearing him play blues. He did kind of hold back a little but it's probably kind of hard being brought up as a shredder

@StopRunningKid No doubt he's world class proficient, but check out Alex Hutchings or my friend Allan Holdsworth. Allan gave me some guitar picks recently that i thought I'd keep as souvenirs only & i haven't stopped playing with them sense. I met Michaelangelo many years ago as well as Paul Gilbert on separate occasions & they were all down to earth dudes. Oh yeah, so was Randy Rhoads @ the back of the Palladium on 14th st. in 1980 when Motorhead opened for his Ozzness.

He's obviously great & all, but...,he seems to play at light speed a bit to much, like Ego malmsteen. nothing wrong with supersonic speed, but Jimi's version of Dylans song has way more subtlety & texture.I like attempting to acheive those timewarping speeds myself, but i'm more concerned with telling a story, creating atmosphere.Delivering a message from varieing time periods in music history. Brilliant technician,yes,but so was my car mechanic. still, i met the the guy, think he's great.

You can see how much he thinks music 'forward', by how the drum of the track sounds like.

@yngwieiii Yes and No, I agree MAB is a great guitarist, but I wouldn't really call this blues. Blues is about soul, not full on shredding like MAB always does. I'm glad he respects his influences though.

I don't get it? Why he plays so perfect on studio fucks up live?
@odinlindeberg46248 жыл бұрын
Because studio recordings are basically franken-recordings.
