Michael Ball On Taking Over BBC's Sunday Love Songs & Les Mis Tour Hits The Road | This Morning

He’s one of Britain’s most popular entertainers and now Michael Ball has just bagged the Sunday Love Songs spot on Radio 2, following the death of DJ Steve Wright. Michael joins us to reveal details of his new show starting in June, along with hitting the road with Les Miserables for an arena spectacular tour in September playing Javert!

Well Mr. Ball, you do have the gift of gab but I'll bet you never use the phrase "relax me off" again on air during this lifetime. What a giggle. Still hope you include some zaniness in your new show but follow Marquis of Queensbury rules. I'm still laughing. And why don't you play "I Don't Know Much, But I Know I Love You" with Linda Ronstadt and James Inghram on your first show. Be Well.

It’s a role for a Tenor (like Alfie). Michael’s a baritone. Even if he can work his way up to doing it, pushing his voice long term could be damaging (see: Julie Andrews)
