I know Mr. Ball's been working on it for years but he's always blown the roof of every venue he's played at and knocked my socks off he's just gotten better and stronger and more powerful as far as I'm concerned faints. First time I sang this song, it was in Japanese for a showcase thing for the Japanese language portion of the modern language department. Even though we didn't memorize the song (not enough time between the time we were given the song and the day of the event), I still remember bits and pieces of this song in Japanese. Ironially, my Chinese teacher decided to make our Chinese class do a skit of the Don Quixote story (basically what Man of La Mancha-the musical the song is from). The theme that year was Spanish, so at least one language class of each language had to do something related to Spanish or Spain.

Great ending. I love the way he handled that last note by doing it twice. As far as the rest of the arrangement, I prefer my version. With this version, the piano arpeggio is a little too fast. And there was barely an intro to set the emotion of the song.
