Loved it in the 80s still love it now. Great to hear about how Michael and Glynis met and how he ended up on the show. The chemistry they shared on screen made the show. So pleased they are still going strong together. Wish this interview had been longer.

Oh this is awesome!! Haven't seen any pics of them in years. Glynnis hasn't aged since the show went off the air and Michael looks good for pushing 80. Some of the show's episodes were aired in the USA from 1986-87 and I taped them but now that there are region free DVD players I was able to order the entire series. My favorite Brit TV show !! Thank you so much. Seeing this video really made my day.

In the Smokey mountains in America...I don't watch TV at all. Not in decades. I do sometimes find some old British series to watch on my laptop, in the evenings. I found Dempsey and Makepeace... a couple weeks ago, on YT. Loved it so much I binged. Now I am on my second time watching. This video just popped up and I watched the clip. They both look and sound great...and still seem perfect together. Wouldn't it be lovely if someone cast them in a new series. Updating their characters' relationship. It would be a hit. Brilliant...For sure.

Though we don't understand the englsh language we enjoyed this series very much. Because the casts looks like from different plants and l still remember the cute smile of makepeace even till date. It seems like another world and a lifetime ago! When I was a child during one of the best decades of my life, I was watching this on Saturday Nights (late). Look at those Ford models back then, miss looking at those. These 2 were proper and has us people hooked. They both look exceptionally well and absolutely thrilled to see them 🙂

Nice to see them, they seem happy. Please release this show remastered on Blu ray. Only three seasons but Airwolf had three seasons and they released a reference quality Blu Ray of that. I remember Glynis Barber from ‘Blake’s 7’ of course. I remember Michael Brandon in a TV movie with William Devane called ‘Red Alert’ about a nuclear meltdown. I’ve not seen it since. Of course he played a Congressman stricken with AIDS in a December 1983 episode of St Elsewhere. The first mention of the disease in a dramatic US TV show I think. Anyway God bless them and I wish them happiness it brings back memories.

I loved this series and it was awesome, in billions of ways also Glynis Barber still looks as beautiful as she did and she was awesome in Blake,s Seven as Soolin she and Michael Brandon having married and still together is really good during B7 Glynis was the partner of fellow B7 actor Steven Pacey Tarrant. Glynis stated in an interview nearly 20 years previously she would not have returned to B7 for a second season had there been a 5th season of B7.

I think I was about 20 when D&M first aired. I still watch it all the way through every few years. Currently halfway through a binge. So it made me think to look up any interview videos with the couple. Both fantastic in their roles in D&M and other stuff since. (I love Michael's network boss role in the 'Episodes' show a lot. Brandon's great in one of Dario Argento's most underrated movies; Four Flies on Grey Velvet (1971). As for Dempsey and Makepeace, judging by the clips, the old 16mm film series could really use a good HD clean up, it's yellowish and faded now so they should restore and make it sparkle like other old shows say Miss Marple or The Professionals, etc.

@@johndoyle2429 The issue was money I think, these series were very expensive to make and sales to overseas TV networks were crucial for paying the bills. Its failure to really spark in the US probably hastened its demise. With an American actor playing one of the leading roles, I think ITV assumed it would be a surefire winner Stateside.
