Michael Burry will forever go down in history as a genius for predicting the Real Estate bubble and making a fortune out of it. And because of that KZbinrs follow him religiously to everything he buys, sells or tweets thinking he’s going to be able to do it again. Who knows, maybe he will but some of his investments are very questionable. He’ll buy a stock and 3 months later will sell it either at a loss or no profit at all.

Burry is overrated. Had two big calls in the last 20 years and that's been it. In the last 5, he lost a boat load of money on put options.

Gold always gets sold off when the stock market gets hit because folks prefer to sell it to meet their margin requirements. After the damage, gold will recover faster than stocks.

Yo suprised that since you mentioned "deep industry knowledge" with the bioatla stock; Michael Burry, I would think who has a medical degree and still keeps up with education requirements to maintain his physician licencse, is more likely than not to have deep industry knowledge. A Disease Control Rate of 67% is not bad, not the miracle cure, but helping almost 70% of patients is acceptable to me for skin cancer. Part 2 is not very clear, except that it involves activation of T cells in combination with chemotherapy. Remember, Burry is a doctor who understands this better than the average investor

Be careful of just copying him. Like many hedge fund managers, he tends to make announcements only to goad people into helping his moves. Like talking as if the market will crash, and the next filing you see that he was actually loading up the truck.

I think you put out great content but please no more Burry for awhile. I stopped listening to him after his 100th false catastrophic prediction on how the U.S. economy is going to collapse. There are so many amazing investors that can be talked about.
