Someone mentioned this was a masterpiece. I agree, it is in fact genius but, only the Holy Spirit can inspire such beauty. I saw Mr. John Talbot many years ago when I lived in CT at a Catholic church. A miracle really because my sister's friend overheard me tell my sister I wanted to see him. She offered to take me, we are Protestant Reformed. When I was 25, I had a rather very radical conversation. I was very blessed am still am until this day, as God fed me so much food of his word. I had a very clear understanding of God's so much, His Elect, I grew so fast in his word! Looking back, I praise God for those years, because I needed that to fall back on in my darkest years. Skip ahead, I moved back to Michigan, was doing good but, looking back I see how the small gaps giving way to cause the adversary to seek and destroy my life. One morning in a dream but partly awake, I heard a language I didn't understand but yet knew exactly what the Elders in heaven we're discussing. One asked, is she ready for it, as if they it was a very deep, back and forth discussion of what would be a very long trial. Most certainly, this came right after, on my lunch from work I was in deep prayer, truly I had never heard this, I prayed, My utmost for your highest, Lord God. Later the book and song came out. I was amazing, it was withing that year the trial began. It was almost impossible to survive this trial. Hurt, pain, heartaches with physical pain added. The most tragic part is over only to find myself in what has spilled over to a lifelong battle. Always praised God but, not always obedient through those years. I didn't know myself. I am extremely careful to walk according to His commandments, His purpose and love. Surely the kingdom is within. In my darkest hour, I fell on the floor, crying so hard I couldn't breath. I could only give God praise for what was taken away. My beautiful child, so much betrayal. Seemed the entire world was against me. I see now, so much I had to learn. I fought back, when I should have crumbled. I realize my trial is nothing but a tiny fraction of all the darkest of sins , we cannot imagine which were as a poem I wrote, A whirlwind of sins, swept up through one man's heart. It was driven by the Holy Spirit. That poem was stolen. It's ok, all that has been stolen, nothing belongs to me, I devoted and gave all my children to God when they were babies. I think I made it as through that trial. Yet, another one I run and this time I run it in Christ Jesus. Praise be to the God of Jacob, to Jesus who saved my soul, to the diety. Praise, Glory and Honor to God Almighty. Jesus, I love you more than words will ever express in this lifetime. I love you..!

This song is what introduced me to John Michael Talbot. I heard his beautiful voice harmonizing with Michael's. I had to find out who that beautiful voice belonged to. Loved him ever since, both of them.

What needs to be said here, is what brought about this album. The idea is that each was a fan of the other. They both picked out their counterparts favorite songs from the opposing artist. Then they each added their own signature to it. The result is this classic duo album. Almost 25 years listening to this masterpiece. Never gets old.

I often pray the Liturgy of the Hours in the Universalis app - I have the paid version - and this Psalm can be selected as one of the Invitatory Prayers. Pretty much the same translation as is used in this song, though the LotH includes a couple of verses that are omitted here.

This song brings me to such tears of joy! Praise be to our God and Father and to Jesus Christ our living saviour, who PAIS it ALL! What words of thanks can I bring with words? Only in the Spirit..only will He bring my heart before our Savior
