There are a lot of good dudes in MMA, but I've never seen someone so well put together, well spoken and mature as Chandler. He speaks with a sort of sensibility and wisdom you would expect from an older person who's been through a lot of life struggles and come out on top. Dude has strong leadership qualities.

He's good for fun fights like Conor and Nate Diaz but he's never winning a championship at this stage. He's 36 and was losing to a 38 year old who everyone said he was supposed to run over. That kick wasn't even part of his gameplan if that kick doesn't happen Chandler was in trouble Tony was starting to piece him up
@johnboy17602 жыл бұрын
@@antoniocontreras7559 I seriously don’t get this logic people in the comments are employing that he was losing. They’d had one round of three, the fight was 1/3 of the way through. That’s a negligible sample size to predict how the rest would go. A lot of fighters treat that round as a means of feeling out opponents. If the knockout were mid way through the 3rd round after a beat down you’d have a point. If we take that weak argument we can flip it on it’s head and say, well Chandler would have beaten Oliveira…until he stopped him in the second round. Or do we just apply that logic to fighters we like?
@footlesskicks17502 жыл бұрын
@@johnboy1760 Totally agree with you. If the kick didn't KO Tony then it would have been a Knockdown so Chandler would be winning on points as he also had the takedown and ground and pound. Tony was great but the truth is Chandler recovered smartly and took control of the fight. Just take a look at this angle in this video, Chandler looks perfectly fine and composed before executing the KO kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJrFgHR-o6mnotU
