ALMOST Facts, except that Duane and Reade don't cross, they run parallel. The original Duane Reade pharmacy was between those 2 streets on either Church or B'way (I forget which), down in TriBeCa, near City Hall.

I was born in 1961. Grew up watching black people getting hosed down, dogs sicked on and beaten by State Troopers on TV . Watching and idolizing Black atheletes, listening to some of the BEST music ever made by black musicians, and some of the greatest oratators this world has ever seen. Micheal Chi has slowly chiseled his way into that line up. Funny.
