This video shows the workouts and that's great but fails to show the diet which is the real reason that one gains or loses weight. You can do all of these workouts with 100% intensity and not lose weight if your diet is not in check.

LOL he's definitely not 6% at the end. They should've used a dexa scan or hydro for more accurate testing instead of calipers

No mention of his diet!? You can exercise all you want, but if you're trying to achieve 6% body fat (let alone 3%), the composition of your diet is absolutely critical.

What was the purpose of getting to 3%?? Didn't see anywhere in the video where he stated it. Because it's impossible?? He said that 3 or 4 times.
@anejaG556 жыл бұрын
Because he wanted it. Isn't that why you do stuff because you want to do it, not just because of external validation
@zulusmith6 жыл бұрын
Gaurav Aneja Interesting that he doesn't specifically say that it's for internal gratification. It actually looks like IT IS for external validation. The video itself is the slickest non-commercial commercial I've ever seen. And how do we know it was successful?? You and I, two complete strangers, are discussing it.

In preparation for film, Stallone claims to have got his body fat percentage down to his all-time low of 2.8% and weighed 155 lbs. He stated that he ate only ten egg whites and a piece of toast a day, having a fruit every third day. His training consisted of a two-mile jog in the morning followed by two hours of weight training, a nap during the afternoon followed by 18 rounds of sparring, another weight training session, and finishing the day with a swim.[2]

interesting but a ton of people I know, including myself, have cut 8 pounds in a month many times in there career as just a normal gym rat. Not really all that amazing. And you said you almost got there but you only got to 6% which is double your goal which was 3%. I mean, props and you look good and all but this is kind of a weak video considering. Plus, 3% is unattainable without some pretty legit health issues for almost the entire population, even those on performance-enhancing drugs. if you are not doing competitions, there's pretty much no reason for most people to ever be below 9 or 10%. The Sweet Spot for looking for and having ABS at the same time is probably anywhere between 9 + 12% for most people. as with everything, there are exceptions. unless you are all the gear, you will most likely be a lot smaller than you think you will if you actually get in the single digits. Kind of sucks because you look small with your shirt on. bottom line for almost the entire world population... If you are less than 5% you will most likely have major health issues and feel horrible. You can do it for a short amount of time but get back in there and put on a few pounds. I know guys, many, that show excellently at have terrific ABS in the 10 to 15% range. If you are doing a fair amount of squatting, deadlifts, another compound movements, sometimes without belt and so forth... You will have chunky ABS. Just don't be a pig and watch what you eat. Enjoy!

I think you missed the point. Hes attempting a human feat that we would all say is impossible. Its like telling the first person to attempt to climb up Mount Everest, "yeah that's impressive but its dumb. Mines well climb up a small mountain 30 times instead". He dropped a total of 4% bf in 30 days. That alone is super impressive, n it's even more impressive cause he was starting at 10% bf, which we know at that point, shedding bf becomes harder then usual. Yeah his goal is dangerous the same way climbing up Mount Everest is dangerous, or any seemingly impossible feat is, but trying to tell him change goals to fit something you like more is not cool.
