I watched Liberace on his TV show with my father. My mother was outraged by him. I was fascinated by his talent--even though I was only a child, I still was fascinated by his artistry at the piano. I remember when the first show was over. My father asked me, what did I think? I told him I liked his piano playing. My father looked at me and said, "That's right. Whatever else he may be, he is an incredible talent. That will be true for many people you meet in life."

Scott says in his book he was eighteen now he is.pretending Liberace took advantage of him when he was sixteen trying to blacken. That movie was hilarious and of course tragic in the end. Michael and Damon were off the top . I had the pleasure to see Liberace in 1977 in Montreal what a show even for a young teenage at the time.

I've loved Michael Douglas since i was a young girl and he was Romancing stones. I'm not even sure when i fell for Matt but yeah he's amazing too. However with all that being said, i finally made myself watch this movie this year. Maybe i would have liked the movie better but I've recently grown to love the real Liberace through watching his interviews and performances. I absolutely adore Liberace now. I was too young to appreciate him as a child and teen but as a 48 year old woman, i absolutely adore him. So i finally rented and watched the movie last month. I got so angry watching the movie that i turned it off and never finished it. I'm sorry but in any video I've ever watched i never heard liberace act and sound as Camp as Michael portrayed him. I'm not even sure if camp is the right word I'm looking for, to me, Michael sounded stupid. And if i ever hear Michael say the words Baby Boy again, i think I'll puke. To me the whole movie seemed to make fun of Lee. From beginning to end. And to know the whole movie is based on a jail bird's stupid book. I'm honestly thankful Lee is gone and didn't have to watch it. He would be mortified. If he wanted us to know he was gay, he would have told us. Scott is nothing more than a jilted lover. Liberace let him keep his clothes and jewelry which could have easily gave him enough money to start again. Actually he kept more than that, i just can't remember. But Scott could have sold everything. Ya know, rent a house, get a job but instead he snorted it. People get dumped everyday and move on with their life without trying to tear down their ex. His ex just happened to be rich. Lets not forget Scott has spent most of his life in jail and i heard he's back their now or was. Shame on us for giving Scott a voice and Shame on us for making fun of such a brilliant man. Such a sweet man who only wanted his privacy and to please his fans. I would love to hear from Gay people. My son said that i shouldn't say Gay people, it's LGBT or something so i hope i don't offend anyone with my ignorance of it. I just truly don't know the difference. But I'd love to hear their views on the movie and how Liberace was portrayed. I just feel protective of him. He wouldn't want this. To me it's awful and I'll never look at Michael and Matt the same way again. Not that i dislike them now just i can't get certain images out of my head.. 🤕
