I remember when Bill Gaither asked the audience in our church to pray for Michael. But, Christ already had a redemption plan to forgive and restore. Why? Because that is what Christ died for: He died to redeem and return us back to His side and have the redemption restored. HE is all we need. Glad to see Michael back to sing. His gift is to remind us of God's love.

When someone like Michael English makes such a powerful statement of faith as a song like In Christ Alone, you can be sure that a target was placed on his back by the enemy. He was being severely attacked even as the song rose to No 1 on the charts. The fact that he survived and has returned to praising God through song and story is the greatest testimony he could ever have. Its almost like his downfall was allowed so that the Father could show His glory to the world ... how he loves us even when it seems all hope is gone. Praise God that Michael English made it through the dark valley.. May guardian angels protect him at every turn.

I understand your story I grew up singing gospel from 5 until 23 and then I went through a divorce and thought God wouldn't want me anymore, I felt unworthy to step in church and didn't go back until my 40's I'm trying hard to get back to where I was with Jesus .I'm 62 now and getting closer to Jesus everyday .May God bless you in all you do .I love to hear you sing in heaven may we praise him together

Relatable testimony Godbless Michael...it takes courage to admit your sin and humble yourself ....I was an alcoholic sinner living a double life and hurting people I had a profession of God but lived like the world until Jesus delivered me and brought me to the judgement seat it was horrendous but it saved my life....Jesus Christ did not come for the "righteous" but for the sick ....we are forgiven!! I love you Jesus my saviour he's saved me in everyway a person can be saved Amen!!🙏
