Love this! ♥️ 🌇🦋 Some fabulous places i love to see sunset from here in New England, where i am now: Rocky Neck or Hammonasett Beach, CT. Twice have made friends at those beaches who had been strangers, last time a woman, a bit older than me, like we are from " different generations. " to speak, like that matters. (Nothing really matters but connection...) I told her she inspird me to go swimming,, (yes, in October! It was strangely warm), and that the setting sun behind her silouette was beautiful as she left the water, She told me I reminded her it was important to follow your heart and just have fun, just DO what you truly want... we stayed, took photos, chatted, did a little yoga, and watched sunset together. Sunset that day was around 3 hours of Pure BEAUTY. The CT Long Island Sound beaches have many facing southwest, so we can see the sun set behind the ocean, even from the east coast. Wicked cool! I also think sunset itself can be ones connection when we're just alone, sometimes. It's like the Universe, God, Science, Energy, Love, or whatever you believe it is... It's a gift ... a beautiful work of ART and somehow hope, uplift, reminds us of gentility and softness, as we go from light to dark.. . Somehow it can remind us we are not alone, as all beloveds can look to the sky at the same time, no matter where they are, theyre either in darkness or light, in the world, and sunset covers both of those worlds round the globe. Two other great places to take in sunsst are Springfield Riverwalk overlooking the river and Ashley Reservoir in Springfield and Holyoke, MA. Or... WHEREVER YOU ARE, it's great to stop and just take a pause, a moment of wonder. Target parking lot has great sunsets ! Everyone's rushing, but sometimes i stop (in a safe place) qnd juat gaze and smile.. sometimes other people join me. It's truly a thing. We can all connect around. If we so choose. Sunset cliffs, or Dog Beach, both in Ocean Beach, San Diego, are both amazing places to be at sunset. All of Point Loma. I feel grateful. I've lived in places that have beautiful sunsets, even though i hilonestly think they are beautiful wherever you are, even if you're sitting in traffic, or at home or work. Maybe we could start Sunset meetups....
