Watching this on November 21st, 2023. I cannot believe that 26 years ago, Michael was reahearsing for the last time. I would love to go back to 1992 and try to avoid that fight that changed his life completely. We miss you Michael. Rest in peace.

It’s absolutely heartbreaking that Hutch had passed away only hours after this was shot. I feel so privileged to have seen INXS play in their peak of 1990 in London Arena. All 6 members are/were absolute talents. Thank you INXS and RIP Michael. ✝️

About his fingers - Someone spread a rumor that it could be caused by him passing out on drugs while holding a cigarete but this was quickly put to rest as if you passed out you wouldn't and couldn't hold on to a cigarette or anything. You'd go limp and drop whatever was in your hand. It happened while in California, where he visited his girlfriend of 7 months, Erin's, prior to going to Australia. Coroner & police investigation after his death, found he talked to her for several hours each day they were away from each other, and for several hours the day before he died.

Michael's charisma and voice is so incredible he could mask his hurt very well. The hurt had been in his eyes for many years, even when INXS was was souring, if you really looked. Deep pain the eyes will show just for a moment at times. But, here, it is more than just pain. There is an element of great sadness in his eyes, with knowledge of envisioning the end. Look at 0:22 in, he hides it with his voice but if the eyes do show the soul as many say, there is complete heartbreak there, of giving all you could and just can't give more. I think if he slept for 18 hours the outcome is completely different. But the alcohol and prozac, mixed with drugs and most devastating, being awake for over 30 hours straight? Forgive me, I can't remember how long exactly, but many said he had been up a very long time. When you're up that long you only start to see the bad and if you go to bed you get up and see so many solutions that you couldn't see before sleep. Sleep heals our mind. Remember also, this is before he finds out Tiger and Paula aren't coming. Imagine being as exhausted and sad as he is here, plus 24 more hours of little or no sleep and then that news? A momentary choice doesn't define a life, and if anything was by his hand it still doesn't define him, not at all. The whole of our lives define us.

#rip #wemissu #hut #4ever

Thank you. As half Aussie myself, I know some British elite seem to think less of Aussies in secret for the history. MH was front page news in the UK and Australia the last years of his life and he even mentioned how he was vilified in the UK press. So yes, Sir BG, as royalty saving the world, versus a bad boy out of control rock star etc. The British courts were going to have it for BG. Finally, even if BG has connections and power, he still has feelings himself and those feeling losing his wife to MH, well, he would dick with MH, because "he could". There is just no reason BG could not have compromised and allowed at least Holiday travel. That said, there was a 'long term; problem. MH did not wish to live in Britain, why would he? The press did not like him etc. If MH offed himself, he felt in a no win situation, PY could not up and take all the kids? or could she? Anything can happen, if MH just hung in ....

@@redpravia6740I'm sorry, I don't get it really. Do you ask me if there's a video of the concert? If so, I don't think so. We didn't have smart phones way back in the '80s.

He looks and sounds happy. Shame he spoke to Bob Geldof that night.

Yup..who truly triggered him, Bob, Paula or both?
@MrsSlumdog5 жыл бұрын
Michael himself. Face the truth. He did not want to stay in the hospital after the fight in Copenhagen, he did it his way. That had cost him a lot, I guess everything. As you might know. He lost the joy he needed. He was the one who chose to be with a married woman with three children. It's all so very sad that such a bright human being had weak spots like us humans do. In the end everything triggered Michael. That's my conclusion. Don't blame others for his failures. Believe me, I know what I'm talking about. Experience. He was a charismatic rock star, but he was in the first place a human being.

@@MrsSlumdog This was so well said and true. He was, after all a human with strong intense feelings about everything. I actually wonder what Geldof actually said to him that broke his spirit? Makes you wonder, doesn't it. And Paul Yates supposedly lied about not being able to come over, which is weird in itself.

@@1888starz Paula was a mother who stayed with her children because she couldn't leave since the court case was still on. What lots of people seem to forget it were Bob's children too! See, now you are doing it again, it must have be been Bob or Paula that made Michael snap. I think both men have said terrible things to one another. Michael should have been told not to be so demanding and expecting that he could take Bob's children as his own. According to the director of Mystify, Richard Lowenstein, who has said in an interview that he has heard one time Michael screaming to Bob 'they are now my children!'. Well, if someone should say that to me about my children I would be furious too. And even worse! Michael was lost. Lost his taste and smell in an argument when he was drunk. Then he became a changed person. He began to use more alcohol and drugs. And that did kill him. Not Bob, not Paula. Fans always tries to find someone to blame. Michael's fall started when he left the hospital angry......perhaps earlier, when he used his bicycle being drunk to get some pizza's...... It is what it is and it's a long time ago...... I loved Lemmy too, I loved Bowie, I loved Prince, I loved George and above all I loved Chris Cornell. This is life. Today we heard the news about the death of baseball legend Kobe Bryant and his young daughter and also baseball talent Gianna. Awful, heartbreaking! So, who are we going to blame for this? Let it be. It's fate, and yes, it's very sad. Enjoy life while you can, we never know when our day has come. By accident, by our own hand, sickness or whatever....... our day will come too.......

My personal opinion, he was murdered straight up, came to me as Clear as the morning dew, I couldn’t stop watching him all of a sudden, why? I dunno, but after bout 5 days it came to me in a dream, he was running his bath & a knock came , he walk over to the door and someone burst in on him (hence the nick on his forehead his sister said he had, and, “they” strung him up on that door, I don’t care if he did commit suicide or not he’s NOT here, but he was murdered, someone needs to question Bob G. Just a revelation I cannot explain it BUT that’s what happened.

Seeing how incredibly excited Michael was when talking about jamming with Billy Gibbons in The Viper Room, you realize this was a man who absolutely loved life and music. Seeing that clip alone makes me think there's no way he intended to take his own life, or even if he did it was a completely impulsive act. But there's so much joy and energy there it doesn't seem possible

and you see how not one of the band responded to him? that's why I fault them too. they didn't care. that's obvious. He's talking about something that gives him joy, and not one of them responded. He was worked into the ground, worked to his death by people who wanted what they could get out of him when he wasn't capable of giving another drop. my poor michael.
