wowow this is such a cool comment! haha I've never seen any other Michael animatics nor have a seen a performance of the song so I kind of went into it blind and didn't even realize mine came off differently like that! While he's definitely breaking down and having a terrible time I always associated his character in general with a sort of goofy or dry wit that I guess was reflected in my video. That being said, I kind of wish I made certain parts more emotional looking back but I'm glad you still appreciated the tone of my animatic :)))

It’s just oh my god I love it. I just think that this is amazing because this is so different to the other animations . The way that he jumps around in the Bathroom and the way you put it in other dimensions for example the big door and the little Room in the middle with the people all around makes it soo interesting to watch. Also it made me really emotional like I could feel his anger and sadness and that everything is going just bad like that little thing with the soap. And Most important I love the facial expressions of Michael like the sigh or the doing like he would hang him self was just so refreshing from all the other animations of this Song. Oh and the photoshopped car really made me laugh XD

Michael's angst in this was me in 6th grade. I became good friends with this girl, she was my only friend really. I often helped her talk to other students since she didn't speak English well at the time and I know Spanish and English. Then as time passed and she learned English, she started making other friends and began ignoring me. She was even rude to me at certain moments in a passive agressive sort of way. It turns out that she was kind of self centered and at times a jerk. When she stopped sitting with me at lunch leaving me alone, I knew things had changed. I felt sad at first like Micheal did, but then I just felt angry. Although I never showed it, I just ranted at home to my mother. XD

What i like about this song is how they decided to focus on his abandonment in a real-world way. Some people would blame the other person, yet some people blame themselves for everything, and Michael in the bathroom shows him blaming himself and Jeremy in an interesting balance where he's kind of subtly blaming Jeremy. This is such a good direction for the song and i love it! One of the best songs in the musical hands down.
