He was high at the time. Most probably took some sedatives to dull his physical and emotional pain. I'm sure he was nervous to perform in from of a large audience after not performing for years due to the accusations. It's sad to see him in this condition. I pity him

there were two concerts. can you believe that after the last one, the next morning was 9/11? michael even had a meeting scheduled in one of the towers but overslept ... you can say that america (and the world) celebrated in peace in a free world for the very last time with michael jackson ....next morning BOOM
