All the women and girls loved him. Everyone had the Beat It and Thriller jackets; the parachute pants; people sportin' the 'glove'; men wearing their Jheri Curls like his with the baby hair and sides slicked down. (I have to admit, I had a Thriller jacket. 🤣 Michael Jackson was a straight up phenomenon at that point in his life. That doesn't mean he didn't have amazing continued success. All that means is that he was at his peak at that point. Thriller is his number one selling album.

This was my first album (cassette) I bought as a kid. It was well over a decade after it was released but that was THEE album I had to buy as a kid. I would play that album out in my sisters Walkman until the tape would break and my mom had to buy me another one🤣🤣🤣.
