@@kaliyadior So did Madonna and Michael didn't like her. He wasn't really friends with her either. He asked Prince to work with him plenty of times and Prince never did. I mean, Prince was a pretty competitive guy and a little rough around the edges to be around which are probably the reasons it never happened. He took shots at Michael like saying "I never had my nose done thats the other guy" in a song but he still did have sympathy for him and definitely respected him as an artist. I just wouldn't consider Prince a real friend of his like Liz Taylor was. Or Diana Ross. I think Prince might've really regretted never working with him at the end.

Despite such an amazing performance, he was basically shut out of the awards. In the audience, you could see him looking devastated, on the verge of tears. He wasn’t used to losing, and didn’t know how after being raised to win. It was so embarrassing that after his record breaking Grammy wins. I think it was done on purpose to punish him. The Grammys in 84 literally turned into the Michael Jackson awards. Like seriously, Michael was even hAving his family come up. AND, also I’m sure they didn’t want this black mAn to keep ascending. So yeah, he was robbed. But I think it humbled him and made him work even harder b
