The ladies did the legendary status and background to the solo justice. Slash on the other hand seems to have got the set list mixed up as it was clearly a solo from another song. Eddie was and always will be the king. What would have been the greatest live performance of Beat It would be the artists that recorded the song on stage together. Just imagine Steve Lukather (& Toto) with EVH & MJ. That would be perfection.
