In an interview, Michael said that this is his most sincere song. He was not afraid to open up in his songs and interviews. His lost childhood and difficult life did not embitter him. Michael believed in people, he continued to be kind and sincere, he continued to create music, but certain people, who are characterized by envy and the desire to easily make money from someone else's talent and success, continued to condemn him, give offensive nicknames, create slander and false accusations. I wonder how these people live now, do they sleep peacefully and do their consciences not torment them?... Although I don't think that they have a conscience and this conscience will ever wake up.

I love you Michael

@@ngockim6725 also facts don't lie People do. He was watched and investigated by the FBI for 14 years and went through surprise raids of his house and humiliating physical examinations when he had to stand naked on a chair in a room filled with "perfecionals" that were laughing. All found evidence proved him innocent. So what he slept with kids, my neighbor does to, it's just weird to SOME people because it all comes down to an opinion doesn't it. Well, unfortunately facts couldn't care less about your opinion and leged "claims" someone has to say, it all comes down to weither the facts match up and they simply did not! You can't just ignore how many times ALL his accusers have changed their story. I'm also not ignoring that he "payed off" some kids either, but that decision was beyond his control.

This video is just as sad as the song. Michael is alone on the ground, unable to join the kids sailing in their boats in the sky. Symbolizes his lost childhood perfectly. (Edit) There are other people on the ground as well, and they represent people whose childhoods were stolen from them too. The kid at the end was helped by his friends, so he didn't miss out on his childhood after all.

Lyrics: Have you seen my childhood? I'm searching for the world that I come from 'Cause I've been looking around In the lost and found of my heart No one understands me They view it as such strange eccentricities 'Cause I keep kidding around Like a child, but pardon me People say I'm not okay 'Cause I love such elementary things It's been my fate to compensate For the childhood I've never known Have you seen my childhood? I'm searching for that wonder in my youth Like pirates in adventurous dreams Of conquest and kings on the throne Before you judge me Try hard to love me Look within your heart then ask Have you seen my childhood? People say I'm strange that way 'Cause I love such elementary things It's been my fate to compensate For the childhood I've never known Have you seen my childhood? I'm searching for that wonder in my youth Like fantastical stories to share The dreams I would dare, watch me fly Before you judge me, try hard to love me The painful youth I've had Have you seen my childhood 翻譯成中文

I love that the line “Have you seen my childhood” can be taken 2 ways: 1. It’s like he’s lost and looking for the childhood he never got to experience and 2. He’s literally asking have you seen what his childhood was like because if you did you would understand how he became who he was. Amazing writing!

Gone too soon. I honestly don't have words and probably will never find the right ones. I've only known Michael for about a year. Some would say I'm not even an actual fan but I'm this year I've invested myself in every detail of this man. Michael has taught me more in this short amount of time than a teacher ever could in many years. He's taught me love. He's taught me acceptance. He's taught me perseverance. He's taught me everything a good human should be. That's because he was the most beautiful soul the earth ever saw. He spread love and kindness wherever he went. No matter the difficulties he faced, which were many in his short lifetime,he remained good to people. Too good, even to the ones who hurt him. He didn't know better. He was a pure soul through and through. His art and talent are unmatched,no one can argue that. But what's even more fascinating about him is the human side of him one tends to forget, being blinded by all his greatness and stardom. Michael was a human being. He was the human I aspire to be. He's everything to me. Rest in peace Michael 🕊️ I'll always love you

The same things happen to me. I just have been interested in doing search about him couples of month recently and I got extremely obsessed about his life, his music, his talent and all pain all loneliness that he had been through. I dig more and more about him, cry and smile with his happiness and his pain. I have never been stucked with someone like this even I usually read and study about great people. I save all my free time to read and watch him, it's still following everyday, I don't know how to escape this obsession. Well cannot kick it away, then I try to enjoy his legacy.

I’m a child of abuse and to know Michael, the man I adore and literally dream of had the same issues I have makes me feel so comforted….even at age 22 I’m left with the scars yes they don’t pop in my head every second but ATLEAST once a day it does cross my mind that I never got to be a kid or get that love and care I deserved…I can’t wait to meet Michael I know I’ll see him when I get to heaven…seriously makes me cry I miss this man so damn much I’d give my own life to bring him back..

I completely agree with you, when I found out about Michael, I wanted to understand him so much, because the media and the people behind it made a monster out of him. No one says that Michael had two Skin diseases from which he suffered, no one said how much good he did for children, visited hospitals, gave / donated more than 500 million dollars to the charity / people, saved so many people's lives .., so many children he saved, gave them all the means for treatment and paid for all their needs, and there are a lot of such children who have grown up and are grateful to Michael for everything, but good news is not for sale. People only need horrible false stories about him to talk about it.

He was no different for me but the most matured man who cared for all beings, animals, nature, children (to who he compared to god). He cared about the future generation and tried all that he can to protect the Mother Earth. He left the message to Heal The World but we ended up ruining the world. RIP Michael, you are an angel. It's a shame so many are loving him NOW. Where was everyone when he was being judged, and sentenced by public opinion ? I was 11 when Thriller came out and have loved this man since. I hope he's enjoying his version of 'childhood' in his Heaven.

Yes! He was a blessing to this world. The only artist that makes me cry with his beautiful voice. He was sent from Heaven to us and he was not appreciated as he should have been. But even if media criticed him, he had his fans, which loved him a lot. I'm sure Michael smiles when he sees how many lives he transforms through his songs. ♥️😭i miss him a lot, i was 7 when he died

As a child, listening to this song was fun cos of the Childlike elements used in the song and the Rythm it has. But Growing up into an Adult I fully understand the lyrics of the song and the message Michael was putting out. Genius RIP KING

Probably the saddest song to listen to... You could tell he was reaching out trying to explain himself when he had no explaining to do. MJ was a broken man, he lost his innocence, he never had the chance to stop and be a kid, all of that was taken away from him. RIP King of Pop 💔

Hulkerine100 I know and that’s why he made Neverland,so he can act like a child there, but it breaks my heart in half thinking that we had a great childhood and he got nothing all he got was abuse, seeing sexual things and just...nothing😭😭😭😭
