He said when he was writing the song, the reason he made the chorus just that cry out was that, so no matter what language is spoken in the world everyone would be able to sing it in unison together ❤❤❤

The song is about the promise of the Bible. He knew the truth. He was born in pedophilia. Tried to change everything about himself. Tried to express that in this song. Mathew 24:14. His mother was a Jehovahs Witness. Look into it without bias. His life prove it.

The Earth song by Michael Jackson is a sad song.. the first time I saw this video my daughter was 8 years old and she started crying near the end of this song then I started crying because she was crying. My daughter is 34 years old now And now 30+ years later I tear up seeing this video . Especially at the last two and a half 3 minutes of the song Michael just gets down asking us.."what about"... This song is powerful!!!!

Michael Jackson.....1987 was his first major step into "musical activism" I call it. Man in the Mirror. Every album from Bad forward was songs about hope, unity, healing ourselves, heal our planet. The suffering, injustice, war, greed, all over the world. His music inspired my entire generation. Sadly it is almost like none of it ever happened anymore. I cannot fathom where it began falling on deaf ears. Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 was an album about unity, education, racism, starvation, drug abuse.......moved us and brought us together. "In complete darkness we are all the same. It is only our knowledge and wisdom that separates us. Don't let your eyes deceive you." People I guess forgot....And it is very sad to hear the hope and inspiration, and yet see how it is now.

I'm SO glad you didn't pause it. I've seen this hundreds of times over the years since it was released and I still get chills and tear up. It's powerful. Some people, however, may have never seen it and to pause it would really take away (in my humble opinion). I can tell you the number of videos I've watched for the FIRST time and as soon as it starts they pause it. I guarantee if they look at their analytics and look at the dropoff rate it would be high. If they have a thousand views they have no idea that they could have had many thousands of views. Anyway, not preaching. I'm just glad you didn't pause it. I sent quite a few people to your page because of it. You have a great channel, my brother, and I have subscribed. Keep up the great work.

Michael was the first (before it became fashionable)... He had a general, absolute conscience... he didn't impose anything on himself. He offered his message... It's Michael, It's my Michael... the King of Pop... But more than that he's a human
@nicholasr826 ай бұрын
Actually in the video where they get on their knees they are praying to God who them restores the earth. Michael is like a moses figure in the video. That's why at the start he sings "what about all the peace you promised your only son" the whole song is a prayer.
